It was Sunday morning. Sandra woke up, went to the kitchen, and prepared breakfast.

She was thinking of Jason, her new lover. Sandra didn’t feel guilty. After all, she and Ryan were in an open marriage.

She didn’t know this, but for Ryan, the open marriage idea was his solution to stay close to the children. He was tired of Sandra and wanted to get rid of her. But, he loved his children too much to leave.

They sat at the breakfast table. She slowly sips her tea. Her eyes fixed on Ryan whilst he savours his favourite banana pudding.
