As a dedicated newsletter writer, Axel was determined to rectify a billing mishap with a payment processing company.

Charging $35.00 per year for his valuable content, a customer accidentally submitted a payment of $3,500.00. Despite the customer receiving a prompt refund, Axel faced an unexpected blow. The processing company deducted a fee of $136.80 from his account.

Frustrated, Axel pleaded his case multiple times, proposing a compromise to split the burden. However, each appeal fell on deaf ears. Axel realized even when there is ample room for compromise, the reality of inflexible policies rules at some companies!
