Autoinebriation - drunkenness caused by ones own euphoria

She didn’t need to be intoxicated by the praise of others anymore, not did she need to turn to any substance to fill voids left like black holes in her soul. She was flying to the stars now and her own pride swelled within her like a hot air balloon taking flight alongside her. She felt a dizzying delirium for a moment, like the first time she ever got high. This time, it was her, her own pride and her own overcoming that filled her with an almost goofy giddy stupor. She felt like the bubbles dancing in a champagne glass as she soared through the sky and pierced the atmosphere.

The skies were no longer her limit, she’d let them linger at her feet now, floating into the stardust and beyond. There was dancing in her stomach, like carbonation combined with butterfly wings. She was under the influence of her own joy, her own belief in herself and it was stronger than any drug. She was seeing things few had seen before, and soon she would see the entire world from a new perspective. This moment would fuel her, guide her and ignite a fire in her as long as her body remained.
