Animal Crossing in the Hunger Games
Don't worry, they don't die.
The Animal Crossing Games
In this fictional spin-off of The Hunger Games, 12 Animal Crossing villagers are thrown into a tranquil yet treacherous forest arena, where their only weapons are nets. The goal? To capture their fellow villagers by any means necessary, from sneaky traps to lucky swings. They don’t fight to the death, but instead, they aim to be the last villager standing, un-captured.
The 12 contestants for this year's games are:
1. Raymond – The dapper cat with charm to spare.
2. Marshal – The smug squirrel with hidden cunning.
3. Cherry – The goth dog with a rebellious streak.
4. Ankha – The regal, no-nonsense cat.
5. Apollo – The stoic eagle with strong leadership.
6. Fauna – The gentle deer with a heart of gold.
7. Coco – The mysterious rabbit with an unreadable face.
8. Ribbot – The robotic frog, quick and analytical.
9. Zucker – The laid-back, sweet octopus.
10. Kiki – The humble black cat with sharp instincts.
11. Beau – The lazy, carefree deer.
12. Lucky – The bandaged dog with a creepy yet adorable aura.

Day 1:
The contestants are dropped into the lush, flower-filled forest arena.
Event: Alliance Forms
Marshal and Raymond, two smug villagers with a shared fondness for style and sophistication, form an early alliance. They decide to work together, recognizing that charisma and cleverness will only get them so far without someone to watch their back.
---
Day 2:
The villagers are cautiously exploring, foraging for fruits, and quietly observing one another from a distance.
Event: Capture (Betrayal)
Apollo, the strong and proud eagle, makes his first big move. He sets a clever decoy trap, pretending to be in trouble to lure Zucker into the open. As Zucker naively approaches to help, Apollo swiftly nets him. The octopus is the first to be eliminated, leaving behind his peaceful ways.
---
Day 3:
Rain begins to fall, transforming the normally tranquil environment into a slippery, foggy maze.
Event: Elements (Storm)
A sudden storm hits the arena, soaking the contestants and making visibility extremely low. The rain turns the paths into mud, making it difficult to walk or run without slipping. The rain forces villagers to seek shelter, temporarily halting most action.
---
Day 4:
The rain has eased, leaving the ground still muddy but passable.
Event: Alliance Forms
Kiki and Fauna, both kind-hearted and more cautious than the others, agree to team up. Neither wants to hurt the other, but they know they'll need each other to survive in this ruthless game.
---
Day 5:
The tension builds as the remaining villagers start making more aggressive moves.
Event: Capture (Luck)
Beau, who has been lazily napping under a tree, wakes up just as Ribbot is about to sneak up on him with a net. Without fully realizing it, Beau yawns, stumbles forward, and accidentally nets Ribbot as he stretches. Ribbot is stunned at his elimination, but Beau casually walks off, still half-asleep.
---
Day 6:
The atmosphere shifts as the remaining villagers start to grow more desperate.
Event: Elements (Supply Drop)
A supply drop descends from the sky, containing rare fruits and tools that could give the lucky finder an advantage. Ankha and Cherry race toward it. In the scramble, Ankha’s royal pride causes her to hesitate when the box opens. Cherry, the scrappy underdog, grabs the contents: a pile of pitfall seeds and a few extra nets.
---
Day 7:
The game reaches its midpoint, and alliances are now more crucial than ever.
Event: Alliance Forms
Lucky and Cherry form a surprising duo, bonding over their misfit reputations. They agree to pool resources, with Cherry providing tools and Lucky offering his knowledge of setting pitfall traps, despite his eerie and unsettling appearance.
---
Day 8:
The forest starts to feel eerily quiet as more villagers have been eliminated.
Event: Capture (Trap)
Marshal, overconfident in his alliance with Raymond, takes a shortcut through the woods without telling his partner. Unfortunately for him, he steps into one of Cherry’s pitfall traps. Before he can free himself, she captures him with a net, leaving Raymond alone and feeling betrayed.
---
Day 9:
Trust is a rare commodity now, with alliances beginning to strain.
Event: Elements (Challenge)
A strange, magical fog settles over the arena, distorting the villagers’ senses. For the entire day, they can hear voices that aren’t there and see shadows out of the corner of their eyes. Kiki and Fauna stick close to one another, terrified by the illusions. Ankha and Apollo use the confusion to their advantage, quietly stalking the others.
---
Day 10:
Only a few villagers remain, and the final captures loom on the horizon.
Event: Capture (Betrayal)
Fauna and Kiki, who have been close since early in the game, face an emotional moment. With only a handful of villagers left, Fauna tearfully nets Kiki while her back is turned, apologizing as she does it. Kiki smiles sadly, understanding that it had to happen.
---
Day 11:
The final showdown is in sight. Only four villagers remain: Ankha, Apollo, Cherry, and Fauna.
Event: Elements (Final Storm)
A massive thunderstorm rolls in, and the arena is bombarded by wind and rain. Lightning strikes trees, setting small fires and forcing the villagers to find new hiding spots.
---
Day 12:
In the chaos of the storm, only one villager will emerge victorious.
Event: Capture (Luck)
Fauna and Cherry both make a dash for higher ground as the storm rages on. In a twist of fate, Cherry slips on the wet rocks, and Fauna, in a moment of pure instinct, nets her mid-fall. Cherry is captured, leaving only three villagers.
---
Day 13:
The final confrontation is at hand.
Event: Capture (Betrayal)
Apollo, seeing Fauna as an easy target, attempts to net her while she’s distracted by the remnants of the storm. But Ankha swoops in, using Apollo’s moment of hesitation to trap him instead. The eagle is eliminated.
---
Day 14:
Only Fauna and Ankha remain.
Event: Elements (Sudden Calm)
The storm clears, leaving the arena peaceful again. But the silence is tense, as both villagers know they must face each other.
Event: Capture (Luck)
As they circle one another in the final showdown, Fauna—surprisingly swift—manages to avoid Ankha’s strike. In a split second, she turns and nets the proud queen, securing her victory as the last villager standing.
---
Winner: Fauna, the gentle deer who used her kindness and quick thinking to outlast the others. She may not have started the games as a fighter, but she learned to survive with heart and cleverness.
