Credit card magnate Vecton Minus died. To his three children, Gillman, Felima, and Selita, he left an onyx sculpture of a black man warrior preparing for battle called Adnis. It was worth three hundred thousand dollars. To his widow, Gicci, he left nothing. Her bitterness resonated and she hatched a scheme to claim the sculpture not for herself, but for the poor children in a Delaware orphanage.

She enlisted three women, Donna, Sergia, and Calla. When everything was dark in the house, Sergia disabled the home security and electronics systems with an algorithm. Calla, swooped in from the top of the glass light fixture and tied a tether around the sculpture.

Then, Donna walked in from the rear of the house and ensured that the Adnis had been properly affixed. A crane outside would seem incongruous, but the people on Billionaire’s Line always had construction work on one thing or another.

Just as Sergia and Calla readied to take up the sculpture, Donna flashed a badge and the house became bathed in light.

“You’re under arrest Mrs. Minus and Calla Dentler and Sergia Cassi for attempting to steal this artwork.” The guilty exited and then Donna smiled with supreme satisfaction.
