A Visit from Santa (Pt. 1 of 2)

It was the worst mistake in Santa's long life. He should have known better; but he didn't. He had decided to take what was the clumsiest elf that ever existed with him on that particular Christmas eve. Mainly because the other elves didn't like having her around. The elf stepped out and landed in a pile of Donnor doo and fell on her ass, sliding down the slanted roof, stopping herself just short of flying off.
"Listen Graceless," Santa looked at the young elf in disgust, "If I can have 8 400-pound reindeer and an overloaded sleigh land on this slippery snow-covered roof without making a sound, then you can step out of the sleigh the same way."
"I guess," Graceless muttered, mad about her new given name, rather than what was said.
"OK, wait until I get down the chimney and out of the fireplace, then drop the bag down to me."
"Sure Santa,"
Santa had gotten around halfway down the chimney and the sack of gifts came plummeting down at him like a bag of bricks, it hit him in the head, and sent him force-ably down the remaining 6 feet. "I said WAIT!"
"Shhhh!"
"Oh, "Shhhh!" yourself!" Santa hissed up the chimney, hoping that nobody heard him. But he knew that he was heard when he noticed three kids staring him down from just beyond the doorway.
"Santa!" All three kids chimed out in one voice.
"Oh, frick!"
