I finally made it here to the most beautiful beach on Hawaii. The sound of the waves, the sun beaming onto my skin, the music coming from the other side of the island, it was all so perfect. It was exactly how I imagined it. I knew exactly what I had to do, what we had planned to do initially. I pull out my intended schedule that had not just me, but three other people on the itinerary. It was supposed to be my mother, father, sister and I. I lost them to a fatal car accident a couple months ago, and I was going to cancel the trip. All I could think about is how excited they were, excited to swim with the dolphins, dance with the island people around the fire, and just embrace their culture, but they couldn't even be here to enjoy it. I know it sounds selfish, but they are the reason I came, I did this for them. I am going to live out each and every one of their dreams, do everything they wanted to do, live for them if you will.

I'm trying to enjoy myself, but really I know for a fact I won't be able to I mean who will right? I walk into the water a bit to test it out and it feels perfect, not to hot, not too cold. I take off my clothes and start to swim, the water was so pretty and blue you could even see the little fishes at the bottom. I keep on swimming into the deep, the waves start to pick up and my feet can no longer touch the ground. I'm nervous but I keep on going, apart of it feels so good, I don't remember the excruciating pain I have been going through. I can see something shiny in the distance, and as I keep on swimming I start to realize it wasn't a something, it was a someone. I suddenly felt something lift me up and launch me I start to panic, my first thought was shark! Luckily, it was a dolphin, what a coincidence, this was on my agenda I just didn't know it would be happening at this moment. It was amazing as they all started to circle around my moving me closer and closer to the shiny person in the distance, it was a man. A beautiful, shiny, muscular island man. I'm sure he's a mermaid of some sort to be swimming this far out, but yet here I am maybe he just enjoys the water.

I start to swim underwater and force myself to stay under for as long as I can, when I see him start coming towards me! I was frightened, but it was magical in the moment, it was weird as he kept getting closer I felt safe. It feels as if I have been underwater forever, sort of impossible but now we were face to face looking into each others eyes, the dolphins circling around us, the sun beams, it felt so magical. I reach my hand out and touch his face when he places his hand over mine as I caress his face. Our eyes never lose focus and are locked onto each other when we both start to reach in for a kiss, I was about to kiss the man, this stranger who did not feel like a stranger, could he be the one is that why I feel this way I start to wonder.

I wake up surrounded by so many strangers over me, asking me if I'm alright and if I need help, "Are you alright miss?! Can you hear me?!" I'm fine, I mean I feel fine, I look around for the mysterious man and he's no where to be seen, and i'm so confused at this point. "I'm alright? What's going on?" Well, you were found far out the beach near a sea of dolphins, they seemed to be protecting you and crying as if they were calling out for help, and it worked. They are very smart animals, and they just saved your life. It was much more dramatic, but I was just trying to process all this, and not freak out at the same time.

"Sarah! Honey! Yohoo, Sarah!" That voice. That voice sounded so warm, so familiar but it couldn't be, mom? Honey we have been looking everywhere for you, i'm so glad you could finally join us! I knew that strong yet soft voice anywhere.. Dad? I turn around and see my sister along with my parents in the distance, how could this be possible? ?I had to have been dreaming.

Hey sis! We had been waiting for you! There is someone I wanted you to meet! This is Alesandro, he's one of the beaches keeper, and protector! We already met, I say very confused. 'That impossible, you literally just got here, come on we will show you the rest of the place!" She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her when all of a sudden an bright light hit my face and it was so bright I closed my eyes as hard as I could, except this time when I opened them, I knew.. I saw my body lying there, surrounded by the island people, except no one could hear me, and in that moment no one could wake me. I was dead, I was watching myself die, I couldn't even react everything felt so calm. I turn around to my family smiling at me, their eyes glowed a bit, and all I could remember was my mother saying " Welcome home honey."
