It will be one day for some, one night for some, no one will like it more—I will never go away with this bad nature of mine, Shan was humming to himself standing by the window. Next to him, his roommates—Riyaz, Surya, and Naushad—were drifting off into the intoxication of alcohol. The night before the exam, but no one was tense. Naushad had finished the entire bottle by himself

Shan was silent. In the midst of everything, there was something intense in his eyes. Suddenly, everyone laughed at Riaz's words—Shanta had touched him

Just then, at the sound of the door slamming, Shan entered the room and began beating his three friends indiscriminately. No one knew why. Finally, he took the bottle of alcohol and started drinking it himself

Riaz asked, What do you mean by this random beating, Shan?

Shan sat on the floor and said, A girl slapped me today

Everyone was surprised. Who dares to do so? Surya said. Shan simply said, I couldn’t do anything. He got up quietly and went to his room

He looked at himself in the mirror and thought—the boy he used to make a fool of, Shan, came back today after getting a slap without doing anything?

The incident started at ten in the morning

Shan came to the university late like every day. As soon as he got up to class, he saw a junior boy bothering a girl. When Shant interrupted, the boy said, None of your business bro. Shan grabbed the boy and slapped him hard

The girl’s name was Anna. She had just been admitted. Due to a misunderstanding, he thought Shan was the one who was bothering him. She slapped him and said, You rude boy, I will take action against the principal sir

Shan stood there stunned, holding his cheek. The other boy was holding his leg and apologizing. But Shan didn’t say anything. He quietly went back to his class.

Shan couldn’t sleep at night.

He couldn’t stand the sound of the fan. He threw the flower pot at the mirror—Boys don’t dare touch me, and a girl slapped me? He went to bed, fuming. At that moment, his father’s phone rang.

Shan, have you been drinking?

Hmm father, sorry

Take care of yourself. I can’t always

Don’t blame yourself. I myself wanted to be different

After hanging up the phone, Shan remembered his mother. When he was a child, his mother would cry when he was beaten. If only his mother were here today

When he came out of the house, Shan saw three friends unconscious in their sleep. He wrapped their arms around them. None of them were friends, brother. He wanted to go to the balcony and make coffee. He thought, If my mother were here, I would make it.

He looked up at the sky and said, Mom, will you eat? Then he made it himself, returning with coffee in his hand. Shan, who has lived in the flat for four years, does everything for himself, his father takes care of the expenses, but soon he will run it.

Finally, he lies down on the bed, a coffee mug dangling in his hand.

There is only one scene in his eyes—Anna's slap, the laughter around him, his own helplessness. But he has decided that he will calmly respond to this insult. Not bit by bit, but he will explain who he is.
