A love story

I with him/her

By Utsab Ghimire Published 3 years ago 3 min read

Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a boy named Jack who lived a simple life. Jack was a hardworking man who worked at a factory in the town, and he didn't have much time for anything else. But one day, as he was walking home from work, he saw a girl sitting on a bench, reading a book. Her name was Emily.

Emily was a beautiful girl with striking features. She had black hair and pale skin, and she wore a simple white dress. Jack couldn't take his eyes off her, and he knew that he had to talk to her.

"Excuse me," he said, walking up to her. "What are you reading?"

Emily looked up at him and smiled. "It's a book about love," she said.

Jack sat down next to her, and they talked about the book and their favorite authors. They discovered that they had a lot in common and spent the rest of the afternoon talking.

As they walked through the town, they talked about their dreams and aspirations. Emily was an artist, and she wanted to become a painter. Jack was fascinated by her passion for art, and he admired her dedication to her craft.

Over the next few weeks, Jack and Emily spent more and more time together. They went on long walks and had picnics in the park. They watched movies and listened to music together. They were different in many ways, but they shared a deep connection that neither of them could deny.

One day, as they were sitting on the bench where they had first met, Jack turned to Emily.

"Emily, I have to tell you something," he said, taking her hand. "I think I'm falling in love with you."

Emily's heart skipped a beat. She had been feeling the same way, but she was too scared to say anything.

"I feel the same way," she said, smiling.

And that was how they became a couple.

They spent the next few months exploring the town, visiting museums, and attending art exhibitions. Emily showed Jack her favorite paintings, and he listened to her talk about her favorite artists. They were happy, and they knew that they were meant to be together.

But one day, as they were walking through the town, they saw a group of people protesting against interracial relationships. Emily was white, and Jack was black.

Jack knew that their relationship was going to be difficult, but he loved Emily too much to let anyone come between them.

"We can get through this," he said, taking her hand.

Emily nodded, tears in her eyes.

They faced many challenges, but they never let anyone come between them. They knew that their love was stronger than any prejudice or hate.

Years went by, and they got married in a small ceremony with their closest friends and family. They exchanged vows, promising to love and cherish each other for the rest of their lives.

As they danced together at the reception, Jack looked into Emily's eyes and felt his heart fill with gratitude. He was thankful for the day he met her in the park and for the love they shared. He knew that he had found his soulmate, and he was excited to spend the rest of his life with her.

Years turned into decades, and their love grew stronger with each passing day. They had their ups and downs, but they always worked through them together, supporting each other through thick and thin.

As they grew old together, they sat on their porch, holding hands, watching the world go by. They talked about the adventures they had shared and the memories they had made. They knew that they had lived a full and happy life together.

Jack looked at Emily and smiled, "You know what's funny?"

"What?" Emily asked.

"We're like the colors in a black and
