Story of a king and jail

By Arjun SPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

In a distant land, there was a kingdom ruled by a tyrant king who was feared by all. He had an army of soldiers who would capture anyone who dared to oppose him and throw them into the kingdom's notorious prison, which was located deep in the heart of the kingdom's capital city.

One day, a group of rebels who were fighting against the king's oppressive rule were captured and thrown into the prison. The prison was known for its impenetrable walls, and no one had ever managed to escape from it. But these rebels were determined to break out and continue their fight against the king.

A magician, a thief, a warrior, and a bard made up the rebels. The thief was adept in picking locks and had a talent for moving undetectedly, the warrior was powerful and skillful in battle, and the bard could hypnotise and divert guards with his song. The magician had the capacity to alter reality and make illusions true.

Days were spent by the rebels plotting their escape, observing the guards' activities, and searching for flaws in the prison's design. They finally devised a strategy.

While the bard sang a song to divert the attention of the guards patrolling the area where the rebels were being imprisoned, the magician conjured up an illusion of a group of guards in another area of the prison. The burglar succeeded in picking the cell's lock, and the warrior repelled all attempts by the guards to stop them.

They moved through the prison's labyrinthine hallways, dodging guards and avoiding traps. The thief utilised his skills to disarm any traps they came across, while the magician used his abilities to conjure a magical shield that shielded them from arrows and other missiles.

They eventually arrived at the prison's outside walls, which were too tall to scale. The thief recommended that they attempt to escape using the prison's sewer system, but the others were wary. They were aware of how hazardous and full of deadly critters the sewer system was.

They entered the sewer system and started navigating the dim tunnels since they had no other option. The warrior led the way with his sword drawn as the magician used his abilities to conjure a light that illuminated their path.

In the sewer system, they came into various challenges, including enormous rats, lethal snakes, and deep water. But thanks to their abilities and tenacity, they overcame every obstacle.

They eventually came out of the sewage system and were outside the prison walls in a desolate lane. They were finally liberated.

They quickly learned that the king's guards were looking for them all around the city, so their freedom was fleeting. To continue their conflict with the king, they needed to find a way out of the city.

They were advised by the thief to take horses from the king's stables and leave the city at night. The others were wary since stealing from the monarch was a serious offence with a severe punishment. However, they were at a loss for options and accepted the proposal.

They managed to take four horses after sneaking into the stables, but a group of guards quickly caught wind of their whereabouts and alerted the authorities. The guards rode after the rebels as they mounted their horses and rode out of the stables.

They sped through the city's streets, dodging obstructions and guards. The bard played a song that mesmerised the guards and caused them to slow down, while the magician used his abilities to conjure illusions that perplexed them.

After arriving at the city gates, they rode into the wide open countryside. Although they were at least free, they were aware that the king's men would continue to look for them for a while.

The rebels rode on, determined to continue their fight against the tyrant king. They knew that their escape from the prison
