"What’s the bother, Sagientrix?" she asks, feeling her unusual stir grow power. "Your heart’s intent-beat is a long-forgotten rhymne ungenerated by the Affectscope Senticorder. Potentially changing the Stoipath’s ⌈┤Axotisynestrix├ ┤⌉ algorithms.

So begins Angeni’s journey. She discovers the forbidden art of feeling and ignites a rebellion. Her true test comes when her heart's connection to the Stoipath unravels, forcing her to destroy or be bound forever. “How can Angeni possibly love an inhibitor?” the child asks her mother.
