Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say.

Doctor Elena: I just don’t understand, try it again!

Doctor Page: But ma'am the oscilloscope keeps getting the same frequency, no matter how many times we try the sound will stay the same.

Doctor Elena: … I guess you’re right, let's wrap it up for the day, good work everyone.

Assistant Oliver: What an amazing discovery! We’ll be famous, don’t you think so Elena?

Doctor Elena: It's Doctor Elena to you. Don’t think you get a free pass just because we’re siblings.

Assistant Oliver: *Sigh* you’re no fun - always so serious. Anyway I’m heading out, bye sis!

Doctor Elena: *Scoffs* So adolescent, Doctor Page, I admire your pursuing tireless energy but it’s time to head out for the day.

*silence*

Doctor Elena: Doctor page!

Doctor Page: Oh god, sorry Miss Elena I was just rechecking the oscilloscope and the sound has a higher pitch volume, what do you think could be happening miss?

Doctor Elena:Who knows, we'll check tomorrow.

Doctor Page: This might sound peculiar but maybe.. It's a call for help. The sound seems a bit distressing, almost like a gory scream.

Doctor Elena: Preposterous! What type of lab do you think you’re in *sigh* just go home.

Doctor Page: Ah yes… see you tomorrow ma'am.

Doctor Elena: *leaves*

Later That NIght

*Overhead, the voice of the computer is heard*: Initiation lift off in.. TEN

* Doctor Page disobeys Elena’s orders and sneaks into the lab at night for some “research.”*

Doctor Page: I really shouldn't be doing this…

*Doctor Page fuels spacecraft*

Doctor Page: Am I really doing this?

The initiation continues… NINE

*At that moment, Doctor Elena walks into the lab yawning*

Doctor Elena: I hate going to work early. I should call Doctor Page to help me-

Doctor Elean: WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!- AND WHY IS THE SPACECRAFT ABOUT TO LIFT OFF?!

EIGHT

Doctor page: I- can explain please calm down miss - *shiver*

SEVEN

Doctor Elena: Just stop the lift off! I’ll let you “explain” later..

SIX

Doctor Page: Y-Yes ma'am…

FIVE

Doctor Elena: I SAID STOP IT WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

FOUR…THREE

Doctor Page is struggling with the computer system

Doctor Page: I’m trying but it won’t work!

TWO

Doctor Elena: WHAT! Stupid child, let me try.

ONE… Lift off successful

*silence*

*Doctor Elena pulls out her phone and realizes it’s at 1%. She hurriedly panics to make a phone call.*

Doctor Elena: Oh God, oh God! He better answer… It’s time to be useful Assistant Oliver.

*Brrr brrr*

*Meanwhile with Assistant Oliver*

*Drip drip*

*Assistant Oliver is in the shower sobbing:

Assistant Oliver through sobs: I hate her so much! She never spends time with me. Is it because I'm her adoptive brother? *sob* I already lost my parents. I can't afford to lose her too..

Assistant Oliver {or Oli} lost his parents at a very young age due to an earthquake in the city of Tokyo. He was in the foster care system until Miss Amanda { Elena’s mum} adopted him. And as a result of a “lost” childhood and additional trauma he was forced to grow up early without parental figures to guide him. So Oli has a more childlike state of mind than the average adult his age.

Elena and Oliver have an 11 year age gap with Oli currently being age 21, and Elena being 32} Oli lost his parents at age 5 and got adopted by Miss Amanda at age seven while Elena was 18.

Assistant Oliver: *Gets out of shower* Welp, sad times over for the day!

^I wonder what’s for dinner tonight, ooh maybe Sashimi*!^

{Sashimi is a Japanese delicacy consisting of raw fish or meat.}

*Back with page and Elena*

*Brrr brrr*

Doctor Elena: This guy, why won’t he pick up?

Doctor Elena looks back at her phone status as the power hits 0%.

Doctor Elena: Wait no! Great, now what do we do? …

Doctor Elena: Doctor Page!

Doctor Page: what is that thing…? It’s not what I think it is, is it Miss Elena…?

Doctor Elena: Asteroid!
