
The silence had been interrupted again by a *beep beep*.
The sound of the machines artificial heart, or most had called it a circulatory power converter. Giving the machines human characteristics had been banned after the start of the war. But she had been different, refusing to treat the Bot as anything but human until the very end.
Rain poured on the windows as the machine faced out, the pool of blood slowly growing at it's feet. She had been different than the others, until the very end.
*BEEP BEEP*.
