That year, she went to Suzhou alone and had just settled into her place when her mother's phone calls came one after another, and when she didn't answer, her mother sent another text message. "Girl, tell mommy, where are you?" "Mom just wants so much for you to have a good future. Maybe I'm not going about it the right way, but mom's only original intention is one ......" After further thought, she sent a text message back to her mother, "Mom, I'm fine and learning sand painting. Don't try to find me, or I'll disappear again so you can't find me. I'm just too tired and want to take a break."

She was 17 years old, unable to lift her head from her heavy school work, and the future was always out of reach. Her mother's nagging, daily, sporadic, endless. She wanted to escape from all this, and the idea had always been deep inside her, and it was then that she met Yu online.

One day, Yu asked her on QQ, "Do you know about sand painting?" She was at a loss. You passed her a file, a video of him making sand paintings. Like a magician, Yu completed a wonderful painting with colored sand in a few minutes. The sand spilled out from under his slender fingers, unpredictable and wonderfully magical. Yu's sand painting, like a spring breeze, urged her heart to open the long barren land. She had always loved painting, but after she entered middle school, her mother put away the brushes one by one, saying, "You have to go to a major high school and university, where is the time to paint? "I want to learn sand painting!" Once this idea was born, it was like a wildfire and spring breeze. She asked Yu, "Is it hard to learn sand painting?" You said, "It is not difficult for those who have artistic talent. We have classes here to teach sand painting." Before he finished, he added meaningfully, "Of course, I can also teach you."

The next day, the results of the monthly exam were announced, her ranking fell back by more than ten, and her mood was bleak to the extreme. She knew that once again she had let her mother down, and single mothers are always more eager than other students' mothers' expectations. Her mother chattered on and on all evening. She was so bored that she thought of Yu's sand painting again and had a sleepless night. In the morning, she left the house as usual for school and went straight to the train station to get on the train to Suzhou.

She called Yu, but unfortunately, Yu was away on a business trip.

Every day, she went to a training course to learn sand painting, and after school, she had a lot of time to browse the ancient city. At night, sitting by the river, listening to the gurgling water flowing under the small bridge, the silver moonlight quietly cascading down, laying a light moonlight, she felt the lightness of the clouds never before. She also went to the Internet cafe, sent emails to her tablemate Juan, told her interesting stories about learning sand painting, and showed her the photos she took, and urged her to keep them secret.

Such days were like dreams, and they flew by. The sand painting study was almost over, and her heart was gradually filled with a thousand strands of worry. Or was she completely disappointed with her? I can't help but think of my mother as a thousand and one good thing, the feeling of guilt filled my heart.

She bought a ticket to go home. When she got off the train and was almost at the door, she suddenly hesitated. Would her mother forgive her for leaving without saying goodbye? At home, her family was waiting for her return, as well as her tablemate Juan, but her mother was nowhere to be seen.

Juan said, "I'm sorry I didn't keep your secret, I was the one who told my aunt about your whereabouts. If you were me, you would have done the same."

Outside the door, there was a rush of footsteps, and the door slammed open, and in walked her mother, dusty and frosty at the temples! The mother jumped forward and hugged her tightly, crying with joy, "Girl, mom has been waiting for you to come home!"

It turns out that after she ran away, her mother was very anxious, full of green hair overnight into gray hair. The mother waited in front of the school every day, rain or shine, asking classmates for news about her, and after getting her address from Juan, the mother got on the train overnight and found her place, but did not dare to rashly go looking for her, for fear that she would disappear again, as the text message said. The only thing my mother could do was to follow her every day, about 60 meters away from her, watching and not letting her know, not daring to get too close, and not too far away. She remembered that she had seen a déjà vu figure with white hair on the street and train in Suzhou, and she didn't think it was her mother!

60 meters of mother's love, silent and never-ending.

How many years later, she could understand her mother's worry, how dangerous it was to go to a strange place and meet a strange person alone like that! In her rebellious youth, she had rejected many things, including her mother's love, but she didn't know that whether she rejected it or not, the warmth in her life was always there, even if it was 60 meters away, it was still within her reach.
