Film history and information.

Cultural elements are closely intertwined with films. Film represents the culture in which it is made. Film is known as an influential medium of art, a powerful entertainment medium and one of the best educational tools.

Due to the combination of the visual world with film, it can establish the best communication with the general public. No other medium of art is able to establish such communication with the general public. There is also a practice of dubbing or subtitling films of other languages into one's own language.

Traditionally, films are made by combining many single images, or frames, in a series. When these still images are shown very quickly, the viewer thinks that he is watching something moving. The pause between each image is not perceived by the viewer for a special reason.

This phenomenon of not being perceived is called the constancy of vision. Simply put, even after removing the source of the image, its image remains in the viewer's mind for1/10 of a second. In psychology, this phenomenon of getting the idea of a moving image is called beta movement.

The technique of artificially creating two-dimensional moving images was invented in the 1860s. At that time, such images could be created with devices called zoetrope s and pray x INO scopes. These were created by improving the very common light device (magic lantern).

িThrough these, a series of still images could be changed one after the other so quickly that the viewer's eyes would hardly notice the changes. The images had to be designed very carefully so that there were no flaws. This idea later became the principle of creating animation images.

After the advent of celluloid film in still photography, it became possible to take direct pictures of moving objects. In the early days, several images were placed on a drum and the drum was rotated in pairs.

When the viewer looked at the drum from a certain angle, the moving image could be seen. The speed of the drum was usually 5 or 10 times per second and the drums were paid for with coins.

In the 1880s, the movie camera was invented. This allowed many still images to be stored on a single reel. These reels were later shown as films through a projector.

The light from the projector was projected onto the reel and the images on the reel were magnified and projected onto a large screen for the audience to see.

The earliest films were all direct visualization and display of real events. There was no opportunity for editing or film presentation.

Around 1894, Dickson began experimenting with recording sound and images together. But despite his efforts, silent films dominated and were able to make a special impression on the public.

Until the end of the 19th century, silent films were the only continuous artistic medium. At the beginning of the 20th century, films began to take the form of narrative films. Many scenes were put together and a narrative style was specified for each, and they were broadcast.

Gradually, the scenes were divided into many shots taken from different angles and angles. In addition, the technique of depicting film stories through moving cameras was discovered. At that time, films were still silent.

However, there were orchestras in the cinema hall or on stage to play music and instruments to match each shot. Large production companies would arrange for these.

Any literary medium can be classified into genres based on its subject matter, perspective, setting, and setting. Films also have genres, which are called genres in English.

These genres are mainly categorized by genre. It is not possible to fully explain a film with a genre. A film can fall into more than one genre. Some of the popular genres include horror, adventure, action, thriller, historical, epic, fairy tale, crime, comedy, etc.
