To the strongest woman I have ever known - my Mother… … to whom I call, with love, MAA!

MAA – the first word that I uttered when my mouth and my windpipe synced naturally.

I know I have not always shown my appreciation to you for each bit that you have done and has been doing since the first day you got married to my father! Thank you so much for all your love, support and contribution you gave for the well-being of the whole family. I do remember my grandma telling me about the struggle you were into when you became a part of the joint family having 10+ members. You had to handle 10 different sets of timings of all along-with the likes and dislikes of everyone! After, like almost, 30 years being the most important part of the family; I would just say,

‘You Nailed It MAA! You Nailed it!’.

The efforts you put-in and the hard work you did in managing your Job and staying ready for each one of us on our daily struggles, needs, and demands; is just way brilliant and amazing and would just say…Wow!!

Thanking you for all the things you did till time would not be worth as ‘Thank-you’ is an exceedingly small word in front of the mountains of efforts and stuffs you have done for me and the whole family. Today, whatever I am - is all because of your amazing and unbreakable support, relentless love and extraordinary mental, emotional, financial and social support that you lend in shaping a guy like me. Well, when I am all alone, I ideally think about how different things would be if you were not the most gracious, and hard-working mother that you are right now. You, without any doubt, are the strongest woman I have ever met in my life. You have sacrificed your happiness to make sure the lives of your children were better. You are the purest form of love and at the same time, it is the biggest blessing to be loved by you. Although, I act all grown up and mature, my heart still craves to become that little boy who used to spend most of the time with you.

On one side, I am sorry for making you worry at times but the other side I thank you, whole- heartedly, for all those golden moments when you were there for me even when the whole world was against me and my decisions. Never stop guiding and supporting me, as I do not know what I would do without you. Whether it’s a day or a night, long summer afternoons or long and chilled winter nights or rainy days, you have always been there for me.

You have always believed in my vague and unattainable dreams and have always supported me by always being there for me. Thank you for always listening to my opinions and correcting me whenever I was wrong. It is very well quoted; Life does not come with a manual. It comes with a Mother. You have become my most dear friend and guardian to whom I look up-to! Thank you for constantly pushing yourself to be the best mother you can be. It is well said, there is no safer and beautiful heaven than a mother’s arms and it touches deep!

Last but not the least, you taught me how to write and here I am, writing this little piece of gratitude in order to thank you for everything you did for me!

Tons of love, respect & gratefulness. Love you Maa, to Pluto & Back!
