To Everyone

To all women who has influenced me

By Rose LilyPublished 5 years ago 3 min read

For this topic, I just cannot choose just one woman who has helped me to be who I am today. So I choose to write about everyone who has influenced my life in some way. From every lesson, whether big or small, they have shaped me into being the mother I am now. Despite any strained relationships, its good to focus on the positive that has been taught. Everyone leaves and imprint on our lives and our hearts, whether it is good or whether it is bad, we are to learn lessons.

To my grandmother paternal, you taught me that no matter if you have a lot or not, to always show love and compassion. Poor is just a word, we are all rich in our hearts. A full belly is what matters, even if we have to sit on the floor being fed one by one.

To my grandmother maternal, you taught me to always be strong. No matter what I face in life to stand firm in what I choose and to always feed everyone, even my worst enemy.

To my mother, you taught me to always work hard, but to always take time to rest and take time for myself. Whether it is sitting down for ten minutes to enjoy some tea. Alone time is important. You also taught me the importance of juicing and how beneficial it is to make healthy choices.

To my mother in law, you taught me the importance of making time just for your spouse and kids. You taught me it doesn't matter how people view you, make your own choices to the benefit of your household.

To my grandmother in law, you taught me to always speak up and stay feisty. Also to never settle for mediocre food, if I don't like something then I should most definitely speak up.

To my sister in law, you taught me, animals are loving family members too.

To my aunt, you taught me to stick by your kids sides no matter what they do. The power of prayer can move mountains.

To my aunt, you taught me its okay to walk away from a relationship, your sanity matters as a woman.

To my aunt, you taught me to always have an open door to anyone who needs help. Anyone who wants to talk can always come to you, even when you are facing your worse.

To my husband's elderly aunt, you taught me that I cannot trust just anyone, even those closest can betray you. But to always show love and compassion.

To my family friend, you taught me its okay to be friends with your kids and respect their adult private life.

To my family friend, you taught me to help those in need, no matter what. To be graceful and loving.

To my husband's family friend, you taught me to always be yourself, to color the world pink, the right man will love you for being you.

To my friends mom, you knew I could make it through college but had no way to pay. You helped pay part of my tuition and had the most patience when I could afford to pay it back.

To my family friend, you taught me that no matter the heartaches, even the pain of losing a child, to keep pushing forward in life to do well.

To my family friend, you taught me that even if a loved one chooses to leave, to keep working hard to provide for my kids and to be civil with an ex.

To my friend, you have been through so much but taught me to fight through life's challenges.

To my old boss, you taught me its okay to be a perfectionist and to work with a schedule, while still being so much fun with the kids.

To my old boss, you taught me its okay to micromanage while allowing freedom.

I thank all of these women, who has influence me.
