The hand of trust

The love of a mother

By Keila MartinPublished 5 years ago 3 min read
Mother’s unchanging hand

All my life I waited and wanted to feel the love from my mother. I just needed more time to make that happen and surprisingly it came. I took a photo of our hands joined together because this is what I always wanted. Now I have her trust, the love of my mother I always dreamed of.

Those weeks that I been there to take care of her is a bonus for me. She gave me that chance to show her how much I loved her. I will always and forever be grateful to get this chance. If anyone knew the history they would have said now this is what love is supposed to be like.

My way of life nobody would ever understand how I’ve made it this for. The path I went down to make it through this storm is forgiving the ones who caused the hurt in your life. That for me was very hard but with the help of people who loved me and counseled me got me through those dark days.

All that I’ve been through could have been prevented if I had listened to momma coming up. She tried to warn about the world and the people in it. But, being hard headed I’ve learned the hard way. Everyone doesn’t have good intentions when it comes to helping you out. People do it to always have something over your head or just to get into your business.

When you think you have it all figured out you turn back to momma for a way out. What you have to realize momma done her best to prepare you for the world so you can stand on your own two feet. Momma will not be there forever to counsel you, or get you out of binds that you got yourself into.

But meaning you are her child she will not she you struggle and will make a way out of no way. Since she got you out or been there every time you needed her momma was there and you never learned how to stand on your own two feet. She and you gonna realized that she enabled you to where you are not gonna ever know what it is to make it.

The love of a mothers unchanging hand was always there to help you, but when that same unchanging hand can no longer help you will you be there to help her. I’m there and I will never have any regrets because I took care of momma like momma took care of me. I love her just as much as she loves me and that is something I will always cherish for the rest of my life.

A birthday to remember 02/25/2021

This will be the best birthday ever because she was able to see her birthday and celebrated it with her family and friends. She received gifts, roses, cake and even money. She was happy and had a glow on her face that can light up a dark room. The joy she had made it feel like it was my birthday because I celebrated her day with her.

I love my mother with all that is in me and I know she knows it and feel how genuine my love is for her. She will be my love and my big baby forever and always even when she goes to rest. She is my queen where life first began and will end. She bring joy when their is sorrow, she bring strength where there is weakness.

She bring us happiness when we feel down. She was our caretaker when we could take care of ourselves. She was our provider when we fell short so to make everything easy to understand she is our everything.

She made a lot of sacrifices for us when she needed to and in her time of need I feel we have to do the same for her as she has done for us. She has helped others that couldn’t seem to get it together. She gave advice when it was needed. She was the life of the party when it came to family gatherings. Everyone depended on her and now she need the same dependency that she gave us to be given to her.

I love you momma for all that you do and for being beautiful inside out. Stay strong Lil lady and we just need you to know we’ll be alright.
