Story Time with Winter Madison

Hello readers! Join me on Story Time With Winter Madison as we read stories together. Story Time is a time to relax, snuggle with your favorite stuffed buddy or blanket, and listen to stories read by Winter Madison. Our last storytime featured a fun and colorful story called "Dragons Love Tacos". In the book, we follow a character that shows us what kinds of tacos dragons do like, and what parts of the taco they don't like. The book is a fun way for readers to use their imaginations!

After each Story Time episode, we will have what's called Circle Time! Circle Time will focus on the books we read during our Storytime episode. A Circle Time will be posted for each episode of Story Time. During our Circle Time, we discuss topics such as self-esteem, trying new things, just for fun topics, and many more! Circle Time Notes:

Let's have some fun! Put on your thinking caps and let's think about what we like in our tacos! Do you like beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, or steak tacos? Do you like tacos without any meat at all? I love my tacos filled with either steak or beef! Now, how about taco shells? Do you like hard or soft shells? I love soft shell tacos!

Imagine you have your own dragon! What color would your dragon be? Would your dragon just be on color or have many? In the book, the dragons loved tacos! What kind of food would your dragon like? Why would this be your dragon's favorite? Does your dragon like parties like the dragons in the book? Last, name your dragon! What would your dragon's name be? Show me your big imaginative ideas by drawing a picture or writing a story about your dragon. All of my readers can post their pictures and stories (with an adult's help!) on my official author's page on Facebook (Winter Madison) and on Instagram (winter_the_author).

Now, readers, we have our meat for the tacos, and what kind of shells we like. What kind of toppings do you like in your tacos? Do you like cheese in your taco? Lettuce and tomato? How about sour cream? In our story, dragons did not like spicy salsa! How about you readers? Do you like spicy salsa in your tacos?
