Story Time With WInter Madison
Dinosaurs Don't Scribble!

Hello readers! Join me on Story Time With Winter Madison as we read stories together. Story Time is a time to relax, snuggle with your favorite stuffed buddy or blanket, and listen to stories read by Winter Madison. Our Storytime today followed a little boy and his dinosaur on a hilarious series of events that all started when he gave his Dinosaur a crayon!
After each Story Time episode, we will have what's called Circle Time! Circle Time will focus on the books we read during our Storytime episode. A Circle Time will be posted for each episode of Story Time. During our Circle Time, we discuss topics such as self-esteem, trying new things, just for fun topics, and many more! Be sure to tune in to our Circle Time after each Storytime episode. (click the underlined words above to take you straight to this week's Storytime and circle time!)
Circle Time Notes:

Readers: Show me your art! In the book, the little boy thought he was making a big mess by him and his dinosaur doing all of that painting and scribbling. But in fact, his mommy thought his stone paintings and drawings were beautiful art! Readers, I want all of you to know that all of your drawings and paintings are beautifully made art! Always believe in yourself readers, and the more you draw, the better you feel. Put on your imagination hats! Do you like painting and drawing? Imagine you have a dinosaur, and you want to paint or draw with your dinosaur. What kinds of unique things can you think of to draw on? In the book, the boy and his dinosaur draw on stones, can you think of something else you could make art with?
What color would your dinosaur be? How about a name? WOuld your dinosaur have a name? If so, what would it be? What kinds of things would you and your dinosaur do together? I would love all of my readers to show me their pictures and paintings! All of my readers can post their pictures and stories (with an adult's help!) on my official author's page on Facebook (Winter Madison) and on Instagram (winter_the_author).
Word of the day! Get your parent's help with clicking the underlined word to learn what the word "Dinosaur" means. Talk about the word of the day and how it relates to our book.
Readers, we have come to the end of our circle time today. Before we go, I want all of you to wrap your arms around yourself and give yourself a big, giant, dinosaur-sized hug. Take a deep breath and say, "I love me!" One more time readers! Wrap your arms around yourself and squeeze really tight. Take one more deep breath and say, "I love me!" I want all of my little readers to know that you are all special and so uniquely you.
Readers, do you have the book, "Never Let a Dinosaur Scribble!", at home? Whenever we read a story during Storytime you can always follow along! Let's make it fun! How many times does the word, "Dinosaur", appear in the book? Remember readers, if you don't have the book at home, you can always count the number of times we say the word of the day during our storytime podcast!
I hope my readers can join me on our newest adventure as we read "Never Let a Dinosaur Scribble!" followed by Circle Time where we follow up with lessons from what we read. I look forward to reading with you!
