Roger the Therapy Dog Meets Eddie

It was Monday morning and Roger was working at the hospital when Roger's boss Marvin wanted to talk to him. Marvin said “Roger, theirs a new therapy dog in my office and he really wants to meet you.” Roger went in Marvin's office and he saw a yellow lab. When the yellow lab saw Roger he said “OMG It's Roger the world’s greatest therapy dog. The yellow lab went up to Roger and said ''Hi, my name is Eddie I am president and founder of the Roger the therapy dog fan club, also I'm your biggest fan.” Roger took a minute to look at Eddie and saw that he was wearing a white T-shirt that said ''I Hart Roger, the Therapy Dog” in big red letters. Roger said ''Nice to meet you Eddie, I am going to train you on how to be a therapy dog.”

Eddie said ''It will be such an honor to learn how to be a therapy dog from the great Roger the therapy dog.” Eddie quickly took out his cell phone and said ''Hey Roger, can I take a selfie with you?”

‘’Sure!”

After the selfie Eddie said ''I can't wait to post this picture on my FacePage and INSTAPIC, but first I have to send this picture to my mom.” Eddie sent the picture to his mom in a text message. The text read, “In your face mom, I met Roger the world’s greatest therapy dog have fun in the nursing home.”

His mom told him he would never be a therapy dog and meet Roger but instead be an attorney and go to law school but dogs can’t go to law school.

Roger was ready to teach Eddie how to be a great therapy dog so he took him to one of the patients rooms. A little boy just had surgery. Roger and Eddie walked in the room. Roger said ”Hello little boy, how are you feeling?”

The little boy said ''I just had surgery, how do you think I'm feeling.”

Roger said ''I know surgeries can be painful, but is their anything I can do to make you happy?” The little boy said ''I want to meet Taylor Talented, the world famous singer. Roger said “Ok!” And walked out of the room.

Eddie said ‘'Roger, do you really know Taylor Talented?”

‘'No, but I have an idea.” Roger quickly put on a dress and a blonde wig and than quickly ran back into the room. Roger said ''Hello little boy, I'm Taylor Talented.”

The little boy said ''No you're not, your that stupid dog in a dress.

’’No, I’m really Taylor Talented. I’ll sing you one of my songs about one of my bad break ups.” I'll sing you one of my songs about one of my bad break ups. Roger grabbed his guitar and started singing, “Today is a bad I'm really sad because I had a bad break up.”

The little boy said ''I didn't know Taylor Talented had fleas.”

Roger started crying and said ''I had five flea baths today.

Roger and Eddie went to the next room to see the next patient. A little girl just had surgery. The little girl said She would love to meet Taylor Talented. Roger said ’’Why, does everyone want to meet Taylor Talented? Roger quickly ran out of the room again. An hour later Roger came back into the room and than Roger started twerking in front of the little girl who was laughing and smiling. Later that day, Roger said ''I hope you learned something about being a great therapy dog, Eddie.”

‘'Yes I did Roger, thank you, you are the greatest therapy dog in the hospital.” All of a sudden a voice said “No, he's not.” Roger and Eddie looked and saw that it was Willie the Weiner dog walking towards them.

Willie the Weiner Dog was one of the therapy dogs and him and Roger never get along. Willie said ''Hey Roger, do you know who's therapy dog of the month, guess what it's not you, it's me.”

''What do you want Willie?”

''I just wanted to let you know I’m having a big party at my house tonight and you're not invited.”

’’I wouldn’t go to your party anyway.”

’’ Yeah, my owner is out of town it’s going to be a great party.”

Willie asked Eddie if he would like to come to the party but he said if Roger was not invited he was not going. Willie said “See you later losers and left.”

Even though Roger told Willie he didn’t want t to go to his party he really did want to go because all the other therapy dogs were invited.

Harry the Black Lab Roger’s best friend said ’’Hey Roger, Are you going to Willie’s party tonight?”

’’No, he didn’t invite me. I can’t stand Willie, but I want to go to his party tonight because everyone else is going.”

Eddie said ’’I know your upset right now, but if it makes you feel any better the selfie I took with with you has 100 likes on INSTAPIC. Suddenly Leonard K. Cat showed up and said ’’What’s up therapy mutts.”

Roger said “What do you want Leonard?”

’’I got invited to a party tonight by one of you therapy mutts.”

Roger said ’’You got invited to Willie’s party too that’s it I’m going to that party tonight.” Eddie said “OMG its Leonard K. Cat can I take a selfie with you?”

Leonard said ’’OMG yes, I just stole a selfie stick.”

Later that night Roger, Eddie, Harry, and Leonard K. Cat went to Wille’s party. At Willie’s house there was a long line outside of his house. Every dog in town got invited to the party. When Roger, Eddie, Harry, and Leonard got to the front of the line, there was a big Rottweiler wearing a black T-shirt and on the T- shirt the word security was written in big white The rottwieller was holding a clipboard and he looked at Roger and said ’’What’s your name?” Roger said ’’I’m Roger the therapy dog.”

The Rottweiler looked at his clipboard and said ’’Your not on the list.”

The Rottweiler looked at Harry and Leonard K. Cat and said’’ Are you two Harry the Black Lab and Leonard K. Cat?”

They both said ’’Yes!”

The Rottwieller said ’’You two are both on the list.”

Leonard K Cat said ’’Awesome, see you later therapy mutts and walked inside with Harry.” Eddie said ’’How can you not let Roger the therapy dog in. He’s the main character of this story”

The Rottweiler said ’’Look, I’m sorry but, I have strict orders from Willie the Wiener Dog not to let you in.”

Roger said ’’If you let us in I will take a picture with and post it on my INSTAPIC.” All of sudden The Rottweiler became really excited and said ’’Really? No one ever wants to take a picture with me. My Instagram name is Roy the Rottweiler.” After Roger and Roy took the picture together. Roger and Eddie walked inside the house. Inside loud music was playing and all the therapy dogs were dancing in the living room. Roger was looking around and saw his girlfriend Ruby dancing. Roger walked over to Ruby and said ’’Ruby, What are you doing here?” Ruby said ’’Willie invited me.”

Roger said ’’I thought you said your mom was sick, and that’s why we couldn’t have date night.” Ruby said ’’Oh well, she’s feeling better.”

Ruby’s mom was dancing right next to her and she said ’’Hi Roger, this is a great party, are you

having fun?”

Roger said ’’No, I can’t stand Willie.”

Paul the CP Puppy was at the party and said ’’Hey Roger, are you having a great time?” Roger said ’’Paul, everyone got invited except me.”

Paul said ’’Yeah, I’m having a great time, do you like my new sneakers that Willie bought me?” Roger looked down at the solid black shoes that Paul were wearing.

Roger said ’’Paul, you're a dog, you don’t need to wear shoes.”

’Don’t judge me Roger, you're just jealous. These shoes are made to help people with cerebral palsy and famous basketball players wear them. When I wear theses they help me walk and keep my balance.”

Roger said ’’It looks like there making you walk worse.”

Paul became mad at Roger and said ’’It’s called swag Roger, something you will never have.” Paul walked away.

Eddie said ’’Let’s leave Roger, we can go to my house and play video games.”

Roger said ’’After we find Willie.”

Meanwhile Willie found out that Roger was at the party and he was yelling at Roy the Rottweiler.

Willie said ’’Roy, you only had one job. Don’t let Roger in.”

’’I”m sorry Willie, but Roger took a selfie with me and posted it on his INSTAPIC and it has 200 likes.”

Willie said “Oh really? Let me see.”

Roy gave Willie his phone. Willie threw the phone at the wall and it broke. Roy said’’ Hey, that was a new phone.”

Willie said ’’Leave my house and never come back.” Roy left.

Wille saw Roger and walked toward him.

Willie said ’’Hey Roger, I thought I told you, you weren’t invited.”

Roger said ’’Well, you invited everyone else, even my mom.” Roger’s mom was dancing “So I thought I would invite myself.”

Eddie said ’’Everyone knows it’s not a party without Roger.”

Willie said ’’You both need to leave.”

Suddenly the loud music stopped and a loud voice said ’’Willie, what is going on here? I go a Taylor Talented concert and you throw a party with all your therapy dog friends.” Willie’s owner William was home.

Willie said ’’William, I thought you were coming home later.

William said ’’I came home early because I was worried about you. I am very disappointed in you. I can’t even leave my wiener dog home alone. All you therapy dogs get out of my house.”

The next morning at the hospital. Willie the Wiener Dog was grounded and wasn’t at work.

Marvin said ’’Congratulations Roger, You are the new therapy dog of the month.”

’’Yes, I’m so happy Willie got grounded.”

Eddie said ’’Yeah, It was a good thing I found Willie’s owner’s phone number and told him to come home early.”

Roger looked at Eddie and said ’’I think you're going to be a great therapy dog around here.”
