repetition, enjambment, love, art
it's too chilly this evening
furthermore, I'm now overwhelmed with the need
to debilitate myself of the world
I want to unearth
this evening I will cut open
wherever winter damages and salt
it with language
brimming with affection this sonnet conveys
love or dread I am wanting to uncover
the reasons I love
I'm alive and how could I should be aware
that there is certainly not a superior explanation
the point from the beginning was to suffocate not to fall
into the interests of others
furthermore, that affection extends like confidential
told interestingly
here is a room I stroll into
loaded with individuals who have lost importance
-full places to hold me
Adequately inebriated to not trust anything
will transform them
here is a room loaded with individuals
sticking around the kitchen table
with insufficient seats
however, outfitted lavishly with
stories they spill to one another
to hold each one more in time and downpour
needn't bother with to be grasped all things considered
here each time they call out to out me
I see its reverberation solidifying into a
phantom of a kid in each corner
one for every year I have been away
here there's seven
of us now and isn't this what I generally cared about
notwithstanding being fixated on my own evaporating
to be needed
entire and isn't this what I generally cared about
to continue to stumble over this wiretap
for this sonnet to have no punch
line no foreseeable endgame
