Car drivers have called a strike. All types of vehicles are stopped. The groom walked 28 kilometers without getting a car to get married. The incident took place in Odisha's Raigarh district. The video of the newlyweds walking to the wedding with groomsmen has recently come to light.

Patra's house is in Sunakhandi Panchayat area of Raigarh district. The bride's house is 28 km from there in Dibalpadu village of Kalyansinghpur block. When the wedding date was fixed, the strike was not supposed to happen. A day before the wedding, they came to know about the car strike. Everyone's hands fell on their heads. The groom and other groomsmen were worried about how to reach the bride's house. But in the end Patra himself finds the solution. He said, if he doesn't get a car, he will go to get married on foot.

Like that, the bridegroom went out to his future in-laws a day before the wedding with a few members of the family. Walked all night. They reach the bride's house at the appointed time on the wedding day. After resting for some time, the groom sat in the wedding. After that, the marriage was completed properly. But after the wedding, the groom did not take the risk of returning home on foot with his new wife. He is currently staying with his in-laws with some relatives. He said that he will return home with his bride when the strike ends.

Motorists have called a strike across Odisha in the middle of this week. They have called an indefinite strike over multiple demands including life insurance, pension. It is learned that the Odisha government has assured the drivers that their demands will be met.
