Peppermint Polar Bear
Arctic Animal Family

A polar bear walks through the snow, the red of his hat and scarf is a bright contrast from the white. He ventures over the snow and spots some red the same as his hat. He walks over hoping it means blood for food, but the red was not blood he would like to coat his mouth with, it is a pile of peppermints. The bear picks up one of the treats and pops the blast of flavor into his mouth. He is happy about the new flavor and eats a few more. While he is eating, a walrus walks up with a soda in his hand, a Coca-Cola with a polar bear displayed on the can.

"Look buddy, you are on my drink!" the walrus tells him while he walks over to the peppermint feast.
"Where did you get that?" the polar bear asked.
"A human dropped it! Such a big can too, must be a Christmas limited addition!" he shakes the can up and pops open the lid. The coke bubbles out of the top. The polar bear walked forward and takes a lick of the drink.
"This is so much more interesting than just plain water," the polar bear enjoys the taste.
"I have been adding these walnuts to the coke for more flavor," the walrus shows his food and the polar bear takes a bite, but decides they were too crunchy for his liking. "I wonder what would happed if we added the candy into the drink instead," the walrus picks up the mint and places the candy inside the can. The big can then starts bubbling over and takes the walrus scooting while he tries to hang on to his favorite new beverage.

"Wait a minute," the polar bear tries to grab the walrus so he can slow him down, but they both end up blasted across the snow, with bubbling coke spilling in their tracks. The coke finally runs out and the pair find themselves in front of a cave with a delightful and warm smell wafting out. They both wander forward and look inside the cave where they see a harp seal hanging up holly and an artic fox making apple cider over a fire.

"It is so nicely decorated and smells wonderful in here," the walrus praises.
"Oh, come on in from the cold and enjoy our warm drink," the artic fox starts to pour cups of cider for all of them.

"Why do artic animals like us need to have a warm drink?" the polar bear wondered.
"Even the coldest of animals need a little warmth sometimes," the harp seal happily laps at her drink and then goes to bring out a ham.
"Wonderful! I was trying to find food earlier, but all I came across was sugary treats and crunchy things. I am starving!" the polar bear cheered excitedly as they all sat around the table to eat.
"We do this every year, you two should start joining us. You can be apart of our artic animal family," the artic fox offered.
"That would be wonderful! What other times do we get to visit each other in the cave?" the walrus asked.
"Each time there is a holiday, we gather to visit and eat together," the harp seal explains.
"Wow, it would be nice to enjoy your company some more," the polar bear pats their tummy happily.
"Hello, is anyone in there?" another voice sounds from outside of the cave.
"Yes, we are gathered here," the arctic fox confirms as another walrus and arctic fox come into the cave.
"We followed that yummy flavored snow trail to here," the newly arrived walrus explains.
"The soda we spilled sliding over here!" the walrus at the table jumps excitedly.
"Wow, we need to find some more of that! You were on the discarded can too polar bear, maybe you would be an advocate for getting us some more," the new artic fox pleaded.
"I can use the current empty can to go beg for some more," the polar bear agreed while the others sat down for more apple cider and ham.
"Beg for the peppermints too," the walrus added, "I need the fuel for my new toy!"
The next day the polar bear went out to beg for more soda and mints in order to bring back to his new family for the next holiday they were going to celebrate together. He could see the warm fire in the cave lit and blazing by each scrumptious meal they would all share.
