My name is Alice and this is my story

Chapter One

Alice was a girl that was loved a lot by her family. Her mother and father loved her very much but then their happened something that forced her mother to divorces her father she still had contact with her father and she went to him every weekend and some days he went to pick her up at school. Alice grows up thinking that parents should live in different houses but that was not the case in other families. When Alice was about 6 years old her mother met a man and they started dating. Alice was very confused by this man that was with her mother. She told her dad that she was afraid that he is going to make her not see her dad again. Her father told her nobody can every stop him for seeing his daughter and that he loves her very much. When she was 7 Years old her mother and her boyfriend married and 9 months later she had a brother. She also had a step sister that was very rude and did like her. They moved into a bigger house where they each got their own rooms and it was peaceful for a while. Alice and her father went to visit her granny that lived near the sea. Her granddad died a few days earlier and they went there for the funeral. At her grans house she played with her baby cousin that was just a few weeks older than her baby brother. When they went home her dad told her that she don’t have to fever about anything because he will always be there for her. Alice got home and then she saw all the new stuff that her step father’s child got. She was not worried about it because her dad will by her stuff.

Chapter Two

3 years later she and her dad had lots of fun. Everything went well but the one Sunday night when her dad called her she was not feeling well she had a bad feeling and she only wanted her dad but he just left her at her mother’s house an hour ago. That next morning when she waked up her mother told her when her coffee is done she must go to the living room. She went to the living room and her mother told her to sit down. She told Alice that her dad passed away in a car accident on his way to a murder seen. Alice told her mother that she was lies because her step dad didn’t want her to see her dad. Then her grandmother called to her how she is doing but she was not doing well because she knew it was true and that her mother didn’t tell her a lie. She was very upset because she and her dad made planes for the weekend and now she was going to his funeral. When they went to the funeral her mother’s mother and father went with them because they loved her dad like a son. It was a very sad day for her and she knew she will never see him again. Her live just went downhill from there. When she was in grade 7 she was a leader of the school and she did very well. Her mother had her own business but it could not handle the house and the business finances. Her step dad lost his job because he told his boss to stuff his work because he was lazy. He then got a job at different places and very few months he needed to get a new one because he must up at the jobs. Alice was just focusing on herself and what she wanted form live. Her step sister made trouble between Alice and her mother because she wanted Alice to have no one in her live. But it change when she realised that Alice was not paying attention to her plots that she was making. So when her Step dad was home she did everything wrong because he didn’t like her.

Chapter Three

He got a job in the northern part of the country where they lived. They needed to move there but they were first going to finish their year at their old school. That December they moved to the new place and it was very hot and they did know heat like that because where they came from it was cold. The people of this small mine town was very nosy because every five seconds they will drive passed their house to see what they were doing. Alice step dad’s whole family lived there and they care of Alice. The school was 80 Km from where they lived so Alice needed to ride the bus to school every day. She didn’t like it but she made a bit good she got a friend that she sat next to on the bus and they spoke the whole way to school and back to home.She tried her best in the school and her past all her subjects but still it was not good enough for her family. She made it through the here and she was bullied on the bus and at home she never felt safe. She made it through the year. She herd that she was going to a school in another town so she will live in a hostel and she will only go home when it is weekends but also not every weekend that was said to her. She was existed to go to the new school she made friends and she enjoyed school except math because she couldn’t understand it. She asked for help but the people that needed to help her did not like her because she struggled a lot with it and some of the stuff she did understand. She tried her best at the end she past math but barley and then her mom told her she is going to a new school the next year. That desember holiday she went to her grandmom and she was there the whole holiday. About 2 weeks into her holiday she got a call from her mom her mom told her that they are moving and she will go to the school in the town. Alice first asked her mom if her step dad is going to move with them and her mom replaide no he is not going to stay with us anymore because she had enofe of his drinking problem. Her mom also told her that she is coming to get her at the end of the holdiday because she is going to visit her brother that lived near her grandmoms house.

Chapter Four

When they got to the new house she got her own room and that Monday they needed to go register her at the new school. They then went to buy the books and stationary for the new year and she is very exstited to start because she had old friends that was in that school. The day came where she started and then she had fun she made a lot of new friends. Friends that became like family to her and her mother also liked them. 2 months past then they got the sad news that her step dad is dead and she was reliefde because her nightmare is dead and can’t hurt her or her family anymore. They had the funeral that Friday and everyone was their exeped her step sister because she could not make it to her own fathers funeral. One year after that her brother started to have problems and he did want to go to school. They really struggled to help him and when she tried to help it became clear that every one blamed her and her mother for her step dads death. Then her mother got sick and had to go to the hospital. She was home of about 2 daes before they rusted her back to the hospital because her stitches was not properly closed and it became septic. Her mother was in the hospital for 4 months where Alice was alone with her brother and sister. She took care of them and made sure that they eat and everything was right. She heared her mom is coming back she was so exsited and afraid at the same time because everyone said that her mom is going to stay at the hospital and not come back.

Chapter Five

Her mom got better and from their she was fine. Her mom went back to work and everything was back to normal. The next year Alice was in matric and they had a little bit of money problems so she would not go to the matric farewell. Alice studied very hard because she wanted good marks. Then she got a call that said their was a lady that was going to help her with everything for her farewell. Everything was payed for and she enjoyed her night. After school she started working at a school where the learners spoke a different language and they didn’t understand her and she didn’t understand them. She then got her licence and a school where the learners spoke the same language as she spoke. Then she started to studie truge a instutude that would not give her the points she desiverd. She worked for them for 2 years and then she got a change to help a child with autism and she took care of children in the after noon for exstra money. Then she got a boyfriend that was nice and she care a lot for them. Then her boyfriend got a job in a new town, they where going to work on their relationship. She was sad because she was not going to see him every day. He sent her a post for a school that was looking for people. She applied for the job and about 3 dae’s latter she heard back from the school that said she was invited for an interview. She drove to the town and the interview went very well and about 3 weeks after the interview she heared she got the job. They lived with other people but they where looking for their own place. They got a place and it went well after about 3 months he asked her to marry and she said yes. Then everything started to change he started to get very posesif over her and she couldn’t do anything because then he wanted to know what , where and how many men will be there. She was scard for her life. Then she got a place in the hostel away from him but he didn’t leaf her alone when she went to work he was there and if she got home he was there. She didn’t like it very much and she blocked him on very thing. Her friends she made in the hostel then told him to leaf her alone or they will make him leaf her alone.

Chapter Six

She lived her life for year and she was happy alone with her friends that were around her. Then she met a man with the name Charl and she went with him to spur. After words they went back to his room and had sex. She didn’t feel good about it because she felt ashamed. She then tried to not see him but it didn’t work because he was very were and then they had sex again one night and they got to know each other. Then she found out he had a girlfriend and she came to stay in the hostel with him. She felt ashamed because she didn’t know he had a girlfriend. She went on with her life like nothing had happened. He gave her number to one of his friends. They started talking and it went well. One night he invited her to his house to have a drink and they watched movies and talked the whole night. The next day they spoke again and she made food for them and Franklin the new guy was so impressed that she was a good cook that they soon spent every night together. After about 2 months he asked Alice to be his girlfriend and her said yes and it went very well. They were very happy and they were in love. His best friend didn’t like Alice very much because she was getting all the attention of franklin and if he invited Franklin he said but she must go with them. They also had a friend named Inge that also tried to get Franklin to leave Alice but it didn’t work. Franklin got a new job at a big company and he needed to move. Then Alice though that he is going to leave her but he didn’t it made their bond stronger.

Chapter Seven

Then he and his room mate moved to the same town where Alice mother lived. After a month he moved into Alice flat in her mothers yard. He lived in piece and every thing went well. Then they went on holiday to see his father at the sea and they were there for 5 days. they had fun and didn’t wanted to go back home. On their way back they where going to the augrabies falls they where almost there when they got into an accident a car hit them form behind then their car rolled. They got hurt but it was not that bad. That chrismas they where at Franklins mothers house and Alice family also came for the day. Alice was still in shock from the accident because she was the one that was driving the car. Then that March Franklin started a new job and got a new bakkie. They were happy but it felt for Alice if Franklin was blaming her for the accident and for the financial difficulty that he was having. She helped him with everything and it just felt like he was drifting away.His job moved him back to his home town where Alice was living and they moved in together. It was so nice for alice to have him with her and they had fun living together. Then they went to her grandmother and she loved him. On their way back home they went to pick up their puppies. One was their puppy and the one her sisters and one his friends. They loved the puppy like it was their child and treated her also like a baby. She had manners and was very loving. Then the hostel told them they may not have animals in the hostel so she went to live with his friend and they shaw her every day but she came out of the yard to go and look for them. Then the people of the hostel found her wondering at the hostel and posted on the whatsapp group they found the puppy and do anyone know who’s puppy it is. Alice as in a flat spin because where iss she, she rust home to see if she could fined her. She asked one of the workers of the hostel is he shaw the puppy and he said he will take her to the puppy and the lady of the kitchen told Alice she shaw the friendly puppy and took the picture so that they can find the owner so that she can go home. Alice was very thankfull for their help and promise the lady a choclate and she then took the cholate to the lady and she said thank you but she will help animals every day and she also told Alice she can see Alice cares a lot for the puppy. Alice told her that the puppy is like her baby and she will do anything for the puppy.

Chapter Eight

That march they went to other friends of Franklins who had a birthday party for their son who turned 18 years old. They were very existed to meet Alice because Franklin never had a girlfriend how played games with him and who let him play games and not spend the whole time with them. Alice was nevise to meet the people because she was a house mouse that didn’t go out a lot but Franklin was a very outgoing person. He had a lot of friends and not all of his friends like Alice for the person that she made Franklin. She made him a happier person and she gave him love and space that he needed and most of the people in his life didn’t like that very much. Then they had some trouble and there was a person that was trying to break them up and they got it right. His friend took him to a party and there was a woman named Sue- Monique that called Alice told her that she is having sex with her boyfriend. Alice was so destroyed and she didn’t know what to do so she packed his stuff and left it at his friend’s house. She took the puppy and took her to her mom’s house. When she got back into town he came to take his last stuff and she asked him where he is going to stay and he said with the Sue woman.

Chapter Nine

Alice couldn't sleep or eat she was so heart broken that she had trouble with her health and mentally. Her HOD sent her home and told her to go to the dokter because she was a mess. She was tried and she was crying all the time about everything. Then Franklin called her and asked her for medication because he is was also getting sick. Then he wanted to talk about the puppy and she said it is fine they can talk but the woman named Sue was trying to make tings wors for them because she was in their bussiness. She wanted to break Alice and she almost done it. Alice went home for the weekend and her aunt and uncle came to vist them. Then the sunday night Franklin was talking to her and then Sue called her and she told Alice she will take everything away form her that she cares about. She got franklin and then she took ALice Phone and treaten her with the police. Alice didn't stand for it and she gave her the stuff she was looking for. Sue also wanted the puppy but she was not going to get her.

Everything was going good with Alice and Franklin they where talking and secretly seeing each other. Then Alice caved in and brought the puppy back to the town. Franklin was exsited to see her and Alice was consired of what the Sue woman was going to do. Then Franklin left with the puppy to see his mother and when he came back he was mad. Then Alice and the puppy drow to Franklin's new house to hear what had happend then he told her she and the puppy must get into the car. The Sue woman was also in the car next to him. Then they went to pick up his friend. They then went to the gravejard to talk and Franklin told Sue and his friend that he care for them all even Alice. It went well. He invite Alice for supper that the Woman made. When they got there it was not nice for Alice because the woman kept saying that the puppy is her's. and how happy the puppy will be there in her home. Then Alice and the puppy went to the hostel. Alice could not sleep she was thinking about what that woman said. She tried to call Franklin but he didn't answer the phone.

Chapter Ten

Alice then realised what was going to happen when the puppy was going to stay there. She will loos her forever and will not be able to see her puppy again. That is what was going through her head the whole time she was trying to sleep. At 2 AM she disisted to drive to her mom's house and when she and her puppy got there she sent her mom a message saying she is outside. Her mom imidently asked her if she was at the gate of their house and she said yes. Her mom opened the gate and then asked her what was going on. She told her mom everything that had happend and then her mom told her to try to sleep for a little while before she most leaf again to drive back so that she can go to work. She then slept for an hour and a half. She over slept and was going to be late for work. She sent a message to the princpal and told her she is going to be a little bit late. Then 10 km before the town she hit a pothol and lost a tyre. She was in a falt spin and called her mom to tell her what had happend and asked her what she must do know. Alice was crying and she was mad at her self for making a mistake. She called Franklin for help but he didn't answer his phone. Then he message her and asked her where the puppy was. She told him where the puppy was and then he was mad at her. He didn't wanted to listen to her reason for taking the puppy away. He then drived past her 2 times and laught at her because she was sitting at the side of the road without help. He was so angry he told her she deseved everything that was happening to her. She then got a hold of roadside asstents and they help her to sent someone. Then they took her to get a new tyre but it was out of soke so they took her and her car to the hostel. She tanked the driver of the tow truck and left for work. When she got to work she went to the principal to tell her she was there. The principal was just glad she was save. That afternoon Franklin's mother picked her up and asked Franklin to go to her house and there she skeld them both for playing with each others feelings.

She then treaten to take the puppy to the SPCA or kill the puppy. Alice was a mess again. Franklin then went home and said he hate her. She went to the hostel and put her spare tyre on her car so she can drive. She was mad and crying about everything.

Chapter Eleven

Franklin walk away from home and told no one where he was going. The next moring at 2 am his friend sent her a message saying he is safe but didn't want to tell her where he was. Alice was glad he was safe but she still cared about him. When he got back they talked the one day and when they where busy talking that Sue woman kept calling him. He told her to stop calling he was busy. He and Alice was on talking terms but it was still rocky. He posted a video on TikTok of a woman and the caption was is this love. Alice shaw it and asked him how he could move on so quickly from their 1 year and 9 months realtionship. Franklin then told her who said it wass my girlfriend. He then said it is just a friend and it was like a joke. She was not confinsed and then she tryed to forget about it but it hurt her alot.

Then she told herself she will be okay. She had the puppy and that is all she will need to get better. When she got better. Then the Sue woman started again to threaten her but she said go for it. Alice told her to try her best and she will not get the puppy. Then about 1 Month later Alice and Franklin's sister went out for drinks. His sister got sick and her boyfriend came to fetch her. ALice went back to the bar to pay the bill and when she got home she was sad. She then called Franklin cryed about what happend and asked him to come to her. He called his sister and asked her want happend. She told him that they went out drinking and he was mad because why could she take her drink when she was at a bad place. Then he called Alice saying she must listen to his sister and do what she says. His sister then called her and told her to go to bed and put her phone off. Then Alice did do the opised she called Franklin again then he told he, he is on his way. She went out and got into the car. He told her to stop crying there is people in his house that must not know she is there. She was sad and happy at the same time. He got a new dog and it almost bitten Alice because the dog didn't she her.

Then he climed into bed with her and hold her. She felt save and it was nice. She spent the whole day with him at his house and she was still she didn't say anything. He felt bad for what he did to her.

Chapter Twelve

Then he took her home she went to clean her room and slept for a little while. He then called her and asked if she was oky. She said yes and apoligised for what had happend. he said it was fine but don't do it again. He then started to talk to her again and it felt good again. One night he showed up about 3 am at her door and he was drunk. He told her he loved her and then he slept. She was confusted by what have happend and she left it at that. The next moring she went to work and she called him to say he must bring her house keys to her. He asked if she had a spare and she said yes. He was still drinking because he didn't want a hangover. They started to spent more and more time tougther. Then he told her he was moving back to his mom's house. She asked way but he didn't give her an answer. Then she hear a story that the Sue woman lost her house and that is the real reason why he was moving. He went to life with his friend and it went good with them. Every night when it was loadshedding he would go to her house and spent time with her. Then he started to stream with his games. It is good for him and he enjoyed it very much. She supported him with everything he was doing. Then in the school holiday he asked her to come and visit him. She said yes and she went to his house and they where alone. It was fun for them to be alone like always. She had fun and it felt like old times. It was like they never broke up. She then came back to the town a day before the school started. She didn't wanted to leef her puppy. But she knows her puppy is better off there at her mom's house.

About 2 weeks into the new term Alice was called to the pricipals office. There she was offered a Grade R post with a class of her own. She then told them she must think about it and she will give them her answer at break time. She then called her mother to ask her what she must do. Her mother told her she would be stupid to not take the job. Then at break time she went back to the pricipal and told her she will take the job. She then told Franklin and her family and everyone was happy for her. She didn't tell anyone at school acsept one of her friends. The next day at the staff meeting they told all the teachers that she was leaving them for the Grade R's. Everyone at the school came to her and told her congratulations. She was the one that deseved the post because she was waiting a long time for it to happen.

She had mix feelings about it and then Franklin told her. She is doing it for herself and she was waiting a long while for it. She must stop trying to plees all the people around her because there will be people that will not be happy with the choices she will be making. Like for instes when her family finds out she is talking and seeing him they will be very mad at her because they think he is the devil for how he did things at the end. She doesn't blame him for anything and she sees now that it was God's plan for them to be here. He has a bigger plan for them and maybe one day they will be back toughter and in a relationship. For now they must stay friends and work on their friendship to see how it go's so if it works maybe they will get back togther.

Back to her new work she went to ask about her files and how it must look. Then she shaw her class she was very upset because she has OCD and the class was very mest up and never thing was just pusted into a cubert. She will fix it when she starts because she can't handel stuff that is messy. She is neves about her new job but also excited about the new adventure

Chapter Thirteen

Her new adventure awaits for her and it will be a good one for her. She will be able to show them what she has and how she will be good at the teaching. She also has her tennis that they can't take away from her because they really need her there because there is no one else who can help there. Two teachers told her they will fight to keep her at the tennis. The school already took away her choir that she loved alot so they will not be able to take away the rest of her sport.

She really thinks alot about how her new job is going to be and she must only be positive about everything and not take all the peoples words to heart because it will break her spirt.

Then everything went well. She loved her new job except for the new manager that was a little rude towards the people under her. She blamed everyone around her for her failures in live that is what Alice realized after a few months.

She and Franklin got back to getter. It went well. They spend a lot of time talking and looking after the puppy. The next year they moved in to a little apartment and got 2 new puppies.
