Manifesting Abundance: Divine Timing

It was a beautiful day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; but hot as hell for sure. Stepping outside felt like stepping into a large bowl of hot stew boiling at the highest heat on the stove. We occasionally travel to Louisiana to attend the family reunion held annually. I am a city girl, so this humid weather really caught me off guard. Although our family would take trips every so often back down south to visit our relatives, the time frames we traveled were so far spread apart that I never became fully accustomed to the heat.

Here I am in the middle of the countryside; contemplating life. It’s summertime and many children are outside enjoying the sun and playing with their friends. Neighbors are communicating with one another. My elders are sitting on the porch, conversing, sipping on sweet tea, and reminiscing about the good ole days when they were young and naive running in the streets.

You can hear the birds chirping and the sound of car engines revving up and taking off in the distance. It seems to be a very relaxing day.

As I sit on the porch of our Airbnb in a daze, I am pondering. I feel so grateful to be here, yet I can’t help but to feel stressed about my financial situation. I had previously manifested the funds to go on this trip. As we approached the date of our flight departure, my income had dwindled completely.

I remember thinking “if I am supposed to be on this trip the most high will provide a way for me.” I made it here, so I feel confident this is where I am supposed to be. All in all, I need the universe to show me a sign that will ease my anxiety, and prove to me that I always have more than enough and I am well taken care of.

I couldn’t truly enjoy myself, due to the financial hardships I was experiencing. It had come to my attention that my older brother introduced me to a concept named LOA (Law of attraction). I began to reflect on how I could use my subconscious mind to create my reality. I started to research the Law Of Attraction obsessively.

I listened to countless videos about how to raise your vibrational frequency to rapidly manifest whatever you desire. I incorporated meditation into my daily routine. I knew that it was an important factor in training the subconscious to manipulate my current reality. I began to practice these techniques more frequently than ever before. Because we were only visiting for two weeks, I knew I needed to act fast if I wanted to purchase souvenirs and enjoy other fun experiences before traveling back to the West Coast.

I began to meditate more frequently and ask the universe to show me the signs that I was doing the right thing and headed towards the direction to find what I seek.

Although I am not a gambler myself; I come from a family of heavy gamblers and risk takers, so it was no surprise to me when I began to have prophetic dreams surrounding my manifestation of abundance. I began to receive messages about the casino and slot machines. I had a vision that I had placed 20 dollars in the penny slot machines and hit a jackpot for over $10,000.

In my dream, I remember my spirit guides influencing me to follow the 7’s. Ironically it was July 7th, when I awoke. I was full of excitement and ready to conquer the day. My grandparents conceived seven children, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. I found this to be significant. I felt that my winnings could be a representation of some type of inheritance or generational wealth. Even though I knew that I didn't obtain any money just yet, I saw the door for opportunity opening up.

This was our sixth full day on our vacation, and I had begun seeing repeating numbers, such as 111, 222, 333, etc. I saw every variation and sequence of numbers surrounding me at different times. This encouraged me to look more deeply into the numbers. I typed them into google, and the words angel numbers popped up on my screen.

Angel numbers can be seen in repetitive patterns or otherwise. Their explanations detailed that each number has a different vibrational frequency and if someone is consistently seeing these numbers they are in alignment with their soul's purpose and will continue to receive downloads from the universe.

I began to believe in the magic of the universe. I felt compelled to utilize the power of the universe to manifest my desires.

I had $100 total to last for the rest of our trip. I knew I needed to see a drastic change in my finances. This was my last resort.

I went to the casino that night with the intention of only investing $20 and walking away with $10,000 at the end of the night. Remaining focused on the strategies I learned from the law of attraction techniques, I did my best to make sure I was in a positive mindset the entire time.

When I walked into the casino I took the time to feel out the energy in my environment and follow my intuition to decide which slot machine I should use. I felt a bit nervous and anxious but I knew I had to stay optimistic to accomplish my goal. The law of attraction does not work effectively with a pessimistic point of view, and fear and doubt can destroy any blessing faster than anything. It was crucial to my success that I kept my subconscious mind under control.

As I glanced over the Casino floor I attempted to look for two things in particular. A machine that had the lucky 7’s on it and an environment that wasn’t too crowded. I wanted to minimize the impact of surrounding energies on my manifestation process. After a couple minutes of scanning the room I spotted a secluded chair in a corner area of the non-smoking room in the casino. I thought to myself “PERFECT!” Every move I made that night was calculated. My goal was to make sure that I was healthy holistically. Not only did I have to consider my mental state, my emotions and physical body needed to feel secure as well.

As I approached the machine I saw that the highest jackpot was almost up to eleven thousand dollars. I thought to myself, “this is divine timing.” I sat down and began to strategize how I would like to play. I took a couple deep breathes, closed my eyes and visualized what it would feel and look like when I hit the jackpot.

I felt ready to play and utilize my strategy. As someone new to gambling I figured I would have some type of beginners luck, hence; I was only willing to invest $20. As I began to play and learn the rules of the game, my strategy changed.

I wasn’t fully aware of the consequences of gambling, so I didn’t think beforehand to develop a risk management plan. Because I risked the maximum amount to bet each time it only took me 5 slot draws to lose my $20.

Even though I gave up $20 so quickly, I still felt determined that I could hit the jackpot that night, simply because I had been seeing the angels numbers and receiving other messages from the universe. I continued to follow this strategy of placing the maximum bets. Before I knew it, I had blown $80 in under thirty minutes. My emotions had gotten the best of me, and the adrenaline rush encouraged me to keep going.

When I realized I only had $20 left, I became a bit disappointed in myself. I finally stopped to reflect on what I had just done. I did the exact opposite of what my initial plan intended for. I was only to forfeit no more than twenty dollars in order to hit the jackpot. I recognized I was no longer following my intuition. I had become influenced by my environment. I stepped away from the machine to regain my power and control.

I walked to the restroom, working to keep my emotions intact. I couldn’t help but to overthink. My mind was racing with so many negative emotions. I doubted my own abilities and intuition. I felt like a failure. For a moment I let myself process all of these negative emotions and then I reminded myself, “God has a plan for me, and I know I will be well taken care of.” This was a test for me. I knew that if I remained positive everything I needed for the remainder of my trip would be provided for.

I decided to leave the casino at that point. I had allowed myself to cheer up and logically think about what I had done. I definitely learned my lesson, but I couldn’t help but to feel a bit of stress towards my finances. I had dug myself into a deeper whole. Still, I was determined to remain positive.

When I walked out the exit of the casino doors, theirs was a man in a suit and tie holding a microphone. He projected his voice stating that there was a free raffle taking place outside for anyone who had participated in gaming in the non-smoking rooms over the past hour. This wasn’t like any other raffle I had participated in. The man with the mic was holding a small black notepad in his hand. He stated that he previously wrote down 3 numbers in that book, and to win the grand prize of the raffle the participants would need to write down their own set of three numbers on a small sheet of paper and hand it over to the announcer.

Although I was done gambling for the night I thought to myself, “why not participate? This is free.” I had become exhausted with focusing so much on attracting abundance that I didn't really put much thought into my three numbers. I rationalized writing 222 down, simply because it was the sixth day that we had been on vacation and 2 multiplied by 3 was equal to 6. I handed him my sheet of paper with my name and telephone number. I then left the casino.

That night when I got back to the Airbnb with my family, everyone was asleep. It was almost midnight. I was so exhausted from using so much of my brain power. I decided to take a shower. As I was showering I began hearing my phone ring consecutively. I felt that it was odd, because i usually don’t receive calls from anyone around one a.m. after allowing my phone to go to voicemail several times. I proceed to get ready for bed.

That night, I fell asleep, and dreamt that I found a blank check in the bathroom of the casino for the $20,000. I remember to feel positive emotions during my dream. It felt as though the experience was real. I felt like I had control over my state of unconsciousness. Similar to lucid dreams. I awoke from my sleep breathing heavily, I felt compelled to check my voicemail. It was obvious that the dream was a sign.

When I listened to the message, I recognized the voice of the announcer from the casino raffle. Instantly my heart and stomach sank. He informed me that I had won the raffle with a grand total prize of $20,000 dollars. I instantly became overwhelmed with emotion and started crying hysterically. I woke up most of my family members and they proceeded to check in with me. They thought something was wrong. I explained to them how everything was RIGHT. Everything was DIVINE. My prayers, manifestations, and meditations had been answered.
