Introduction

There once was a woman who wished upon a star that she would find a

man who loved her and who she really loved. There also was a man who

made the same wish that night. They soon met. She went out with her

friends to sing some karaoke out one night. Their friends met in the Wendy's

parking lot and then he saw her from his friends car. “Who is that?” He

asked. “Is she single?” His friend said that she was. They all then went to

Benton Station to sing karaoke and the man and girl hit it off right away

talking and exchanging numbers.

They all had a lot of fun at the bar. They sang together and danced. It was

the start of a long, loving friendship that they would have their whole life

long. The friends they had at the time came and went but their relationship

blossomed into love and they got married about a year later. The sweet

couple are still going strong after 8 years. They are best friends and lovers

forever. This couple is me and my Husband.

I am just a regular girl but I know I am extraordinary. I have many talents

in writing, drawing, painting, music, dance and sewing. Plus I contain many

home business skills, office skills and book keeping as well. I have been

waiting for an opportunity to use all my skills in one profession or ways to

make money in those areas. I saw Vocal and I knew it would be an awesome

site to be able to utilize my talents and try to get my creations out there to

be heard.

I already have tried a sewing business and a t-shirt business but that is not

enough for me. I want an outlet where I can be expressive in my writing and

reach all different kinds of people doing it. I think this will be awesome and

fun. I am excited to see who all will read my blogs and short stories.

And YES I am very excited to try this Vocal site. I am in!

I currently work as an independent merchandiser. I go work at gas

stations and grocery stores, essential places of work during COVID-19. I

used to also be a cashier many years but I got plantar fasciitus in my right

foot where I could no longer stand long periods of time. So I went back to

merchandiser work which I have a lot of experience in since 2011 at Dollar

Stores and drug stores and other stores and such.

I'm excited to be an independent artist on Vocal and do independent

merchandising and run our small Light-Up Clothing and Accessory

Business called The Light-Up Man, inspired by my husband who has always

love light-up things. We work very well together and have an awesome

loving relationship.

My Husband also has two children. They are young adults now. I had a

major part in helping to raise them as teens. One boy and one girl. My

Husband truly made all my dreams of love and family come true. As though

he would read my mind and give me what I needed in my life. A full life of

family and love. However, raising teenagers is no picnic and was very hard

at times. Our loving relationships made it through all the hard times and we

now have many fun family memories to hold and cherish through the years.

Our marriage is a strong one that has gone through many ups and downs but

still we stay together in love always and forever.
