Having a sibling is knowing...

An important bond

By Viviane BazPublished about a year ago 3 min read

The New Era has been punishing thousands of families and has taken the spirit of people, of family foundations, but this was already foreseen. What should not be happening is that most of society fails to notice it. And, in the face of this bomb of lovelessness in the world, we still have the warrior guardians of pure and true love: siblings.

Having a sibling is knowing that, even if one is on the other side of the ocean, both remain close at heart.

Having a sibling is like having a piece of your own father or mother in the other person.

The first family, the comfort of your life, is that unforgettable one that governs your DNA and part of your personality.

Every new day, the new era tries to change the essence of your first family. What we’ve seen lately is exactly that: the lack of recognition of the family core and its foundational role.

But siblings have a different side, even though the New Era tries with all its might to attack everyone. The writing of this text is a tribute to those we can rely on, and with whom we can share, countless times, the thousands of words we have to exchange...

The stories we have to tell are much more special when shared with family, or perhaps with certain relatives who are very close, like true friends. In fact, this story of friendship and love is not necessarily about family; it’s something individual, a matter of souls. But siblings will always be special. I believe this foundation comes from family—some are not close, while others are a fortress.

It’s the fraction of your parents, shared in someone else’s life. That someone is a sibling.

Anyone who has a sibling can share all the joys, achievements, anxieties, injustices… Oh, the injustices shared with a sibling, taking a bit of their time to explain everything, as if the problem was solved just because your sibling listened to your pain.

Siblings root for each other with the same strength that your mother roots for you.

The love of a sibling comes from the same home where you didn’t pay rent to be born, and both shared the same matriarch, most importantly called “mother”!

Living together or apart will never be a barrier for true siblings to stay updated on each other’s lives.

True siblings share everything, they talk as if the other were their psychologist, but with the added benefit of being family.

The most genuine bond of consideration that exists, passed down from your parents. A sibling is support, like a trace of your parents in a new personality, but with the same essence, the same form of care.

Siblings tell each other their victories like a child showing off a new achievement to their mother—it brings immense satisfaction.

Brother, I signed up for a new course.

Brother, I have a good story to tell today!

Brother, I have a long and outrageous story to tell!

Any story is a reason for true siblings to talk for hours. Any time is the perfect time to hug your sibling.

Make no mistake, time will not forgive—it will pass.

For some, it has already passed.

But hold on to this message if your time has passed: smile, hold on to your good memories, those moments from the walks, from your eternal defender, the countless laughs, the endless conversations—both the necessary and, yes, even the unnecessary ones…

Hold on to everything that is or was good! ✍🏻💞
