For All You Single Moms In The House
A writing career, household chores, and kids, Oh my!

As a single mom, balancing a writing career with household chores and taking care of kids can be difficult. It seems like there is never enough time to get everything done. In addition, many single moms struggle with depression, anxiety, and feelings of hopelessness.
For me, one of the biggest challenges is finding a way to clean the house and write enough to pay the bills. I feel guilty when I'm cleaning because I should be writing, and I feel guilty for writing because I should be interacting with my kids. It's a vicious cycle that can be hard to break free from.
One thing that has helped me is to set realistic goals for myself. I try to give myself grace when things don't go as planned, and I focus on the positive aspects of my life.
Single motherhood is hard, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. I am grateful for my kids every day, and I know they are worth any sacrifice I make.
Develop a System
One way to develop a system that works for you is to try and schedule your writing time around your kids' activities. If they have a playdate or are in school, use that time to get some work done. It can make a big difference, even if it's just an hour or two.
Another way to do this is to set aside specific times for each activity. For example, you could spend an hour writing in the morning, an hour cleaning in the afternoon, and an hour with your kids in the evening.
What works for you may be different, but finding a system that helps you balance your responsibilities is important.
Single moms have a lot on their plate, but we can handle it if we take things one step at a time.
Being a single mom is not always easy, but we can do it!
If you are a single mom struggling to balance your responsibilities, know that you are not alone. Single motherhood is a difficult journey, but it is possible to find joy and happiness along the way.
Just take things one day at a time, and be gentle with yourself. You are doing a fantastic job!
We should also focus on taking care of ourselves, both mentally and physically. If we're not taking care of ourselves, it won't be easy to take care of anything else.
Single moms need to ensure they get enough sleep, eat healthy, and exercise. Taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of our physical health.
