There is always something that we question. If it is either shopping, getting the correct vegetables in your diet, or more. I have secrets that may help make life easier.
Shop: We always want to save money. Going grocery shopping, saving money sounds impossible. Coupons and a list can help. You break it up into categories. When you shop for meat, look for the packages that are marked $1, $2, $5, $10, or manager special. This means you have to use it, or freeze it, by the date marked. So if you don't use it, freeze it. So when you are making a plan for dinner you have meat in the freezer. Then for your salads, buy a big container of Spring Mix. You can portion it out into Tupperware with shredded carrot, and other veggies, with dressing on the side. Here are your salads for the week.
If your family likes cantaloupe the trick is if you can smell the sweetness at the end, the inside will be really good. Do you ever wonder how to get your money's worth at a dollar store? There are five things you should buy at a dollar store. Number one is Food Storage Containers and Mason Jars. They come in all sizes. Perfect for leftovers and school or work lunches. Next is cleaning supplies.
You may not find the right cleaning solution but you can find cleaning accessories and cleaning cloths. Next is Organizational Products and Storage Bins. Organizing your home dollar stores has you covered. Number four is vases or decor glassware. You get flowers and candles for all
occasions. You will need a vase, or candle holder to enjoy them. The last one is Seasonal Decor. Everyone likes to decorate to set the mood. You could get dinnerware, candles, or decor accessories. All of these are at one of my favorite stores, The Dollar Store. The Dollar Store is a good place to keep you on a budget and save.
More Veggies: Are you getting your veggies in? Most people do not like veggies. Either taste or texture. The first way is to put it into a smoothie. Frozen zucchini is perfect. It gives it that smoothie texture, without all that ice. You can hide it in omelets, chili, black bean burgers, or meatloaf. Veggies you can use are onions, Cucumbers, zucchini, and tomatoes. The last one is added to sauces. In pasta sauce, you had extra tomatoes.
A couple of ways to get extra fruit in your diet is with strawberries. You use whip cream or peanut butter. If you have strawberries and plain yogurt it can also help you improve your gut health. With apples, you can have peanut butter. I have tips to get through everyday life. Drink water. If you know you are going drinking before you go and keep hydrated. Should Drink 1/2 your body weight. For example your 120 lb/2 = 60 oz. For every drink you have, drink one glass of water. Next, get your workout in. Go for a walk or do yoga. Something outdoors is possible. You know you are going out and going to indulge in your workout. Eat healthy during the day. Have something healthy before bed. That could be fruit, veggies, shake, and water of course. Lastly, I have no regrets.
Enjoy the weeks and weekends. Be at peace with what you eat or drink. Move on and enjoy. We make decisions every day. We decide what we put in our bodies.
Enjoy life. Go out with friends. Have a dinner party at home.
Life does not come with instructions. You have to live the life you want. Don't let one lemon ruin your whole day. You can always make it better.
