The Healing Past

This Brown girl is waiting waiting for something that she never knew was possible she has a name but does that really matter? She has an age but does that matter either? This brown girl has been waiting for some thing that she will find that she never knew she needed. This brown girl her father passed away. She was only four years old, and from that time on this brown girl has had to live life without her father.

And from the age of four until the age of what she is now, this brown girl has been waiting. She moved from her home with her family in North Carolina. And moved to a state where things were very different from how things used to be in North Carolina. Due to the world being turned upside down but this deadly pandemic. This brown girl lost all the friends that she’s ever known.

Lost the home that she’s known for most of her life. And is now in a beautiful home with more of her family. With the dog she’s always Longed for and a neighborhood where she could walk her dog and go on walks and enjoy nature. But after unpacking some of her boxes from where she used to live this girl saw a box within a box. This brown girl has never laid eyes on that box before.

She asked her mom about the box. Her mom said we had no idea where this box came from. So this Brown, the Girl, had To open The box. Since her Mom had No idea What was in the box, now she had no idea what was in the box had to open. This little brown girl took that box upstairs into her doggy Milo room. In her room with the door closed, she began to open the box.

Her Dog Milo at This point, Had jumped Upon The bed; she was Wondering what was inside as well. She used her nails to open the show around the box's edges. As slowly, the Pack began To reveal What was inside. There were baby pictures from when she was two or three years old. As she continued to go through the photos, she stopped and held on to one in particular.

This one was of her and her father celebrating Independence Day! That Brown Girl held that picture close to her heart and took a deep breath. Holding on to the memory and also letting go of the pain held in her heart. After wiping a tear from her face, she noticed a large black journal. She had never seen this journal in her life. More intrigued by the book, she turned it over to see that its initials were M.J. She gasped as she realized that those were her Father's initials. Opening to the first page, she reads an inscription on it. “To My Princess...

If you are reading this, then I have already gone on. I tried to stay here with you as long as I could, little one. But my body was tired, and I had to let this body go. But know that I am always with you. If your Best and Worst Days. When that boy breaks your heart...when you get your license, Heck even when you walk down the aisle. Let Love find you because you deserve it. Love You To The Moon and Back!

P.S. I'm So Glad you found this journal. My only regret is that I wasn't with you when you did! Do something Great with what you find inside of it.

The Girl was full of so many emotions that she had to place the journal near her heart and smile. Looking up at the ceiling, she whispered, “I Love You, Daddy”! Searching through the journal that Brown Girl found messages and sites that her Father had written. Ideas and Inventions that he Never got the chance to explore. It was now charged to her to continue the work that her father left her. But after looking through the diagrams, sketches, and notes. Which one would she choose? As after searching through the pages, her eyes fell on one invention that she just had to see through. After months of waiting and going through copyright and trademark plans, the day had finally come. That Brown Girl had the invention that would change her Life Forever... It was a Time Machine. It
