a Great Review!!!!!

I can passionately write about my personal experiences that have actually happened to me. I lived every one these tales I am about to share with all of you now. It's not funny unless you share it!!!!
I will begin with what was suppose to be a lovely fall weekend spent in Mississippi, Just out of Natchez. I was to meet my husband at our hunting camp. I clocked out from work Friday afternoon, went to my house loaded guns, ammo, and the pet dogs (they rather not hunt), they just love the ride.I geared and gassed up hit the highway left Mobile Al. behind. I was halfway through my journey and my husband called and informed me his boss was sending back offshore to work and he couldn't meet me at the camp but to go on his dad would be there. I trucked on to my destination.
Before I go any further, I want to give a little background as to why I did what I did. Every time I went hunting with my husband, He told me to bathe in scent lock shampoo, soap, etc. I would and then soon as I got out of shower I automatically put on my Secret deodorant. Of course it smelled good why would anyone complain? He always complained and raised Cain as we would walk into our hunting spots about that is why I never seen any big deer, I smelled like foo foo, Whatever that is.. anyway I would tell him buy me some scent lock deodorant and I would put it on. Now all of you have a general idea as to why this hunting trip was a very special one.
I arrived at the camp around 9 or 10 pm. My father-in-law was already there and we unloaded my stuff well then I went on to bed. I really can't do early morning hunting, the thought is unbearable after waking up at 4 all during the week, so I slept in. It was later in the day I already had my spot picked out and jumped in the shower ready to go down me a deer to put in the freezer. I bathed in all the scent lock stuff (which really does work) and when I got out of the shower I thought, well he isn't here so I passed on putting on the foo foo. Why not? So we drove 1/4 mile or less to the camp house where all our hunting clothes stayed that was never exposed to human living. I went in started dressing up in cammo and oh but what do I see!!! 2 black deodorant sticks sitting right there on the shelf next to my coveralls. Oh wow!, baby finally thought about me!!! I grabbed one up and it had no smell, (I did at least sniff test it first) Nothing so I commenced to putting it on very thick (cause I a sweater) therefore I do not go without any. I'm just glad I didn't add it to the rest of my body I was feeling lucky and just put it under the arms. Now mind you, It was in the fall, but in the south that doesn't mean fall weather in the least. It was still 90 degree's and humid. I knew at dark the temp would be falling a bit fast so I layered up my clothes. Away I go with back pack, gun, and coverall's tied around my waist. I started sweating and all of a sudden I smell this horrid horrid smell, I thought something has died over here. It was oh my gosh, I kept smelling it more and more and I couldn't hardly bear it. I sniffed the air like a dog catching a scent and it seemed to be okay away from me so I keep walking. I got to my spot, climbed the ladder up the tree into my stand. I started sniffing my armpits and that my friends is when I grabbed my phone out of the back pack texted my husband and in a smart kind of way thanked him for the scent free deodorant. Even though it smelled like road kill was a delicacy compared to what I was putting off.
Out of the corner of my eye I see movement in the edge of the woods. and I thought wow, deer are moving early today. It was a basket rack (4 point) young deer came into view threw his nose in the air and blew and pawed the ground over and over. I was thinking okay it will be an exciting evening. he left my view and here came another buck, He was mad too. just blowing and stomping and very upset. I was like,"what in the world is wrong with these deer today?" I never seen nothing like this. about that time my husband calls. I answered and he quietly and slowly asked"What deodorant are you talking about?" I said "the 2 sticks on the shelf by my hunting clothes." I said thank you once again and then his reply made me so embarrassed I could have died. He said" That is boot wax, it is doe estrous or buck in rut that you apply to your boots to cover your tracks." It didn't take me long to figure out which one of these waxes I had applied. I told him what I was seeing in the field and I didn't know the whole rig was listening, but they were laughing so hard and I couldn't find the humor at this point because I was trying to ask if it would be best to walk out of the woods before dark or take a chance on being confronted by an angry beast staring right in my eyes thinking I'm a buck trying to take his turf. I shot a 300 Win Mag, but I knew I would be gourde before I could pull it up to shoot! Plus you can't hear a deer charging you. I can see them but I honestly have never heard them walk or run or skip whatever it is they do to move. They are quiet!!! Needless to say, I went in before dark. I needed to get that horrid smell off me.
I finally make to the shower, I grabbed the dawn dish soap on my way through the house. I knew it was going to take more than dial on this quest. I get under the water and low and behold the soap and water beaded up like rain ex on your windshield!!! It was un-penetrable!!!!! I'm freaking out. I have no ever loving idea how to get this off of me. and it was still very stinking!!! The hot water added insult to injury and I stayed as long as I could trying to figure this out. I finally exit the shower, dry off. I get dressed and my mind is racing because before long my father-in-law will be in and what in the world will he say?
It was about an hour and sure enough he came in. I know he smelled the horrid smell that engrossed the house by this time. He never did a word and my pride took a hold and I just packed up me and the dogs and left to keep from ruining his hunting weekend.
The story does not end though. I had to continue going in to work, smelling like a road kill that had been in dessert heat all day. I did work outdoors but checking in was a sight. The guys at work did not let me live it down.
I will add that I do not remember which specific brand the wax stuff was, but if I was able to remember, I would definitely leave a wonderful review.
