What Are The Best Books That Everyone Should Read

You must have heard that books are the source of knowledge and if you want to become an intellectual then you should read books as many as possible. There are people who are called bookworms, they just keep themselves busy with books because they get pleasure from reading. If you have a piece of knowledge about books then you must be aware that books differ from genre to genre and each book consist differently from the others. There are countless books but among all of them, there are some books that should be read by everyone. I shall try to present a list of some books before you, however, it is difficult to come up with a definitive list of books because individual preferences and interests vary widely but there are some classics that can be read by everyone who has interest in the books.
1) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
This is a novel that gives us insights into the racial world and explores racial prejudice in the deep south. It comes under American literature and deals with the atrocities of the whites. If you are interested in this type of novel then you can read it.
2) 1984 by George Orwell
There are so many dystopian novels that highlight the follies of our societies and criticize them in a vivid manner but this is a masterpiece that is a strong satire on our society. this novel mainly depicts a totalitarian society where individual freedom is suppressed and it is a kind of warning against government oppression. There is a rule by animals and the stupid one is the ruler of all. If you enjoy such tales which have a dual meaning then you would love it for sure.
3) Pride and Prejudice by Austen
It is a masterpiece by the great writer of 19th-century Jane Austen. This novel deals with an important subject marriage which was relevant then and is still relevant. It also deals that how love, class, and social norms played an important role in shaping the marriage.
4) The Great Gatsby by Fitzerald
This novel deals with the American dream and how people were struggling to achieve it. There were so many types of ups and downs in achieving the goal when people were not worried about the relations but money. This novel also deals with the topic that how an excess of anything can be dangerous. It severely critiques the excesses of the Jazz Age
5) One hundred years of Solitude by Marquez
If you are a literature student then you must have heard about magic realism which was very prevalent in South American countries. This novel is a prime example of magic realism and it also explores the history of a fictional town in Columbia
6) Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky
If you are a fan of thrillers and Russian writers then this book is the best because it is written by Dostoyevsky. This novel is a psychological thriller that deals with the moral dilemmas of its protagonist and how amidst all the chaos a young man commits suicide. This book will surely release adrenaline and you will enjoy it.
7) The Lord Of the Rings by Tolkien
This is a fantasy novel that deals with the fantastical worlds created by the writer. You get to know about various types of creatures that exist cordially with humans. This novel is about a hobbit Frodo who embarks on a journey to destroy the ring that he got from a goblin. It is full of adventures and very famous among literature students. You can also watch the movie but reading a book gives a different type of experience.
These were the few books that I could find out but these are not the only books. There are so many books and each book is unique in itself so you can choose any book and read it. I would suggest you decide for yourself as per your interest.
