Vocal Media, Benable and Other Social Media
My recommendations of Social Media and Energy Tariffs

Vocal Media is a platform that promotes various topics for writing articles, as well as adding photos and videos to compliment written topics.
Its free and paid options give members multiple choices of ideas to implement, including Competitions and there are plenty of publication options to choose from to add your articles to.
There is also a Free or Paid subscription option when registering with Vocal Media, which can be retained or changed to at any time.
It has a minimum requirement of 600 words for long-term articles, but there is plenty to write about that helps reach the 600 words+ target in whichever topics members write about.
Also, Canva is invaluable for resizing photos, so if you post a photo from your hard drive in a Vocal Media article, Vocal recommends images of 1280 x 720 pixels or larger.
Benable is a platform I’m on which lists all the products, services and businesses I promote including Vocal Media, itself, Beehiiv, Bluesky, Canva, Gumroad, Pinterest and Substack.
On Benable you can add as few or as many products, services and businesses as you wish including, as examples, cafes, restaurants, museums, hotels, articles including affiliate marketing, travel, ways to earn and save money, and much more.
There are so many options to choose from with plenty of scope to cater for everyone’s tastes, whether offering things that are free or for payment.
On the homepage you’re greeted with a series of categories.
You can also add your own and implement your choices into lists or folders, depending on how you want to design whatever you recommend.
Substack
Among the topics I’ve written to date, I’ve recently focused on the upcoming Energy and Water bills price hikes on 1 April, with advice on the best options to keep bills down as low as possible, based upon my research and advice from various trusted sources including Martin Lewis of Money Saving Expert and the Which? Magazine who highly recommend Octopus Energy.
Energy Bills
In terms of Energy bills, although there are Cheaper options of Energy providers, from what I’ve read, the cheapest available options aren’t always the best, due to poor Customer Service reviews.
Octopus Energy is a mid-price range Energy provider, which is the one I’ve opted for.
My Substack Newsletter
In my Substack newsletter “Money Go Round”, which you’ll be welcome to subscribe to as an existing or future Substack member if you wish, I incorporate a Bonus offering that may be of interest to you.
Like the offer to new and existing Octopus customers, subscribing to my newsletter is purely optional, but any subscriptions to my newsletter would help towards building my newsletter readership.
At present, as I’ve only recently started my Substack newsletter, everything is available publicly to people, whether or not Substack members.
The aim of my newsletter is to provide information plus free and affiliate links that I think will be of interest to people, relating to ways to save and earn money including with Digital products, as I also write eBooks, currently on Center Parcs in Sherwood Forest and about goth music band The Cure, and I do Print on Demand in designing t-shirts, mugs, etc.
Feedback from Other Members
Like with other articles within and outside of Vocal Media, feedback will always be very welcome.
