Understanding Your Professor and Requirements to Score Good Grades

In the end, teachers’ expectations are undeviatingly tied to the purpose of each assignment. There is benefit in both approaches, as long as the method is specified early on. Stating the goal of an assignment is also a way of expressing expectations about that assignment: what skills students will get to learn, and what goals they will achieve?
