#### The Unhealthy Daily Routine Ayan had always been the kind of person who didn’t care much about his health. Wake up late, skip breakfast, eat junk food, and spend hours in front of his computer were all part of his simple daily routine. He barely got out of his chair to play games, watch movies, or check his social media accounts. He was frequently warned by his parents, "Ayan, you need to take care of your body." Your health is your greatest asset.”

But he would always laugh it off. "I feel great! What is the worst-case scenario? That was until one day, his body gave him a painful reminder.

#### **The Health Scare**

One morning, Ayan woke up feeling extremely weak. When he tried to stand, his legs shook, his chest felt tight, and his head was spinning. He ignored it because he thought it was just exhaustion. But as the days passed, things got worse. He was always tired, it was hard for him to concentrate in class, and even doing small things like climbing stairs left him breathless. His mother noticed and insisted he visit a doctor.

Reluctantly, Ayan agreed. The doctor ran some tests and sat him down with a serious expression.

“Ayan, your blood sugar is high, your cholesterol is higher than normal, and you are severely deficient in essential vitamins. If you continue this lifestyle, you’re at risk for serious health problems—heart disease, diabetes, even stroke.”

Ayan was taken aback. He was only 22. How could he already be facing such serious health risks?

“What should I do, doctor?” He asked, his voice shaking with anxiety. You must immediately alter your lifestyle. Take care of your body, eat well, and exercise regularly. Otherwise, things will only get worse.”

#### **The Struggle to Change**

Ayan left the doctor’s office in shock. For the first time, he realized how careless he had been with his health. He saw someone he barely recognized when he looked in the mirror that night—tired eyes, dull skin, and an unhealthy body. He whispered to himself, "I have to change." The next morning, he woke up early and decided to go for a jog. He was struggling to breathe after only two minutes. He sat on the park bench, feeling frustrated.

“This is impossible,” he thought.

But then he remembered the doctor’s warning. He had to fight for his health, so he had no choice. So, the next day, he tried again. This time, he walked instead of running. The day after that, he walked a little longer. He pushed himself a little bit more each day. At home, he started making small changes. He replaced soda with water, fried food with fruits and vegetables, and reduced his sugar intake. The first few weeks were tough. His body craved junk food, and he often felt tempted to go back to his old habits.

But he reminded himself why he started.

#### **The Turning Point**

After a month of consistent effort, Ayan began noticing changes. He felt lighter, had more energy, and could focus better in class. His mood improved, and for the first time in years, he felt truly alive.

His mother said to him with a smile, "You look different, Ayan," one day. Healthier. Happier.”

Her words gave him even more motivation. He started working out at the gym, learned about healthy eating, and even helped his friends live healthier lives. But the real turning point came when he went back for a follow-up check-up.

The doctor looked at his reports and smiled. “Ayan, your blood sugar and cholesterol levels are back to normal. You’ve made incredible progress. Keep this up, and you’ll have a long, healthy life ahead of you.”

Ayan felt a surge of pride. He had done it—not just for himself but for his future.

#### **A New Purpose**

Ayan’s journey to health transformed more than just his body—it changed his mindset. He realized that taking care of one’s health isn’t just about looking good, but about feeling good, living longer, and being able to enjoy life to the fullest.

He started a social media page to share his journey and help others struggling with the same issues. He wrote about his mistakes, his struggles, and how small changes made a big difference.

Soon, people began reaching out, thanking him for inspiring them.

One message stood out: **“Because of you, I decided to take control of my health. Thank you for showing me that change is possible.” **

Ayan smiled as he read the message. He was lost in an unhealthy lifestyle a few months ago, unaware of the harm he was doing to himself. But now, he was on a path of self-improvement, not just for himself, but to help others too.

He exhaled deeply as he put on his running shoes and went outside. This was just the beginning.

### **Final Message**

Ayan’s story teaches us that health is one of the most valuable gifts we have. No matter how unhealthy our habits may be, it’s never too late to change. Small steps—like drinking more water, eating nutritious food, and staying active—can make a world of difference.

Because in the end, **your body is the only place you have to live. Take care of it. **
