It turned into a cool Monday morning when Ali stood at the gate of his new school, preserving his bag tightly. The building regarded big—a lot larger than his antique school—and the noise of students chatting and giggling made his heart beat quicker.

Ali had simply moved to a brand new metropolis due to his father’s activity. The whole thing turned into new—his residence, the neighborhood, and now, this faculty. He neglected his old friends, his teachers, and the small school room in which he used to sit via the window.

His mom walked him to the gate and gave him a smile.

“You’ll be high-quality, Ali,” she stated, bending down. “simply be yourself.”

Ali nodded slowly, though he wasn’t so positive.

As he walked into the building, he felt every body’s eyes on him. Of course, no person absolutely noticed him—however in Ali’s thoughts, he felt just like the handiest person who didn’t belong.

The school room

While he reached his new elegance, the trainer smiled warmly and stated,

“class, we have a brand new pupil joining us nowadays. That is Ali.”

Some college students checked out him. A few smiled courteously. Most just stayed quiet.

“you may sit down next to Fahad,” the instructor said, pointing to an empty seat. Ali walked to the desk, trying now not to experience over his very own toes.

“hello,” Fahad said in a low voice as Ali sat down.

“hello,” Ali spoke back, managing a small smile.

The trainer began the lesson, however Ali couldn’t attention. The whole thing felt specific. The books, the blackboard, even the way the instructor talked—all of it felt unusual.

Destroy Time

When the bell rang for ruin, all of the students rushed outside. Ali stayed at the back of for a minute, then slowly walked out, protecting his lunch field. He seemed around, hoping to discover someone to speak to. But everybody already had their corporations. He sat by myself on a bench and opened his lunch.

A few minutes later, Fahad walked over.

“Do you want football?” he asked.

“Yeah, I play occasionally,” Ali answered, surprised.

“Cool. We play after lunch. Want to sign up for?”

Ali smiled. “k!”

That one phrase—okay—was the beginning of something higher.

The soccer recreation

Harris added him to the relaxation of the lads. They welcomed him kindly, and soon Ali became going for walks throughout the faculty ground, laughing, gambling, and forgetting that he had been scared only a little while ago.

He wasn’t the best player, however no one minded. They handed the ball to him, cheered when he kicked it well, and helped him when he stumbled. For the first time that day, Ali felt like he belonged.

Returned in magnificence

After lunch, matters felt simpler. Fahad whispered jokes throughout magnificence, and Ali laughed quietly. One of the ladies in the front grew to become around and asked him if he desired to enroll in their technological know-how institution.

“positive,” Ali said. Another smile. Another step forward.

The instructor observed him too. She requested him some questions, and while he gave the proper solutions, she nodded with a grin.

“You’re going to do properly here, Ali,” she stated.

He believed her—just a little.

The remaining Bell

At the give up of the day, the very last bell rang. Ali picked up his bag and walked out of doors. His mother was ready through the gate.

“How become your day?” she requested.

Ali paused. He notion about how fearful he were in the morning. He remembered sitting by myself at lunch. But then he also remembered Fahad, the soccer recreation, the laughs, and the little smiles.

“It become... Top,” he stated. “a bit scary before everything. However now not so horrific.”

His mother smiled. “See? I informed you.”

Later That night time

At domestic, Ali opened his pocket book and started out writing down the homework. He changed into nevertheless new. He nonetheless neglected his antique pals. But some thing had changed.

He wasn’t simply the new youngster anymore. He changed into Ali, who performed football, made a chum, and responded a query in class.

As he lay in mattress that night time, he idea to himself:

“tomorrow might be even better.”

And with that concept, he closed his eyes—and smiled.
