As someone who has learned the hard way about the importance of self-care, I want to share why it’s essential and how you can incorporate it into your life.

1. What is Self-Care?

Self-care is more than just bubble baths and face masks (though those can be part of it!). It’s about taking intentional actions to care for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It’s about recognizing your needs and making time to meet them.

For me, self-care means different things on different days. Sometimes it’s going for a run to clear my mind, and other times it’s saying no to plans so I can have a quiet evening at home. The key is listening to what your body and mind need in the moment.
