SBI PO EXAM

Introduction:

The State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) exam is a competitive exam conducted by the State Bank of India to recruit candidates for the position of Probationary Officer in the bank. The exam typically includes a preliminary examination, main examination, and an interview process. The preliminary examination consists of multiple choice questions in English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates who clear the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the main examination, which includes questions on General Awareness, Data Analysis and Interpretation, and English Language. The final selection is based on the candidate's performance in the main examination and interview process.

Eligibility:

To be eligible to take the SBI PO exam, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.

Candidates who are in the Final Year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before the specified date.

Candidates should also have a valid score in the Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee (CRP PO/MT-X) conducted by IBPS.

In addition to these qualifications, candidates must also meet the age requirements as specified by SBI. The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation is provided for certain categories as per government rules.

Syllabus:

4. General Awareness: This section tests the candidate's knowledge of current events and general knowledge, including topics such as banking, finance, economics, and current affairs.

5. Data Analysis and Interpretation: This section tests the candidate's ability to interpret and analyze data, including topics such as data interpretation, data sufficiency, and line graphs, pie charts, and bar graphs

6. Computer Knowledge: This section tests the candidate's basic knowledge of computers and their applications.
