To ensure the seamless integration of the generated renewable energy into the state's power grid, the Assam government has pledged support for infrastructure development. This agreement focuses on scaling up rooftop solar projects under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSGY). The initiative aims to make solar energy more accessible to residential consumers, thereby reducing dependence on conventional energy sources and promoting environmental sustainability.
