Part 2: The Light of Revelation – Seeing and Hearing God Clearly

Beyond the grace that allows us to hear God's voice, there is a profound truth: the accuracy of your prophetic insight is directly linked to your revelation of Jesus Christ. You cannot prophesy or speak beyond your understanding of Him. If someone claims to speak on behalf of God but lacks a deep revelation of Jesus, it may indicate they are operating under a false spirit. The authenticity of their words comes into question.

God is Light, and His Light Reveals All.

The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:5, “God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all.” His eyes are described as flames of fire (Daniel 10:6), illuminating everything hidden in darkness. In the spiritual realm, God’s light penetrates all, leaving nothing unseen. We, as humans, rely on external light to see, as our natural vision depends on the reflection of light. Spiritually, it works the same way—without the light of Christ within us, we cannot see or understand the things of God.

Your Revelation of Christ is Your Light.

Imagine it this way: each time you receive a revelation from God, it’s like a light bulb switches on in your mind. Things that were once unclear become suddenly obvious. The more you study the Word of God and grow in your knowledge of Jesus, the brighter that light becomes, allowing you to see spiritual truths with clarity.

Daniel 11:32 declares, “Those who know their God shall be strong and do great exploits.” It’s not enough to desire to hear God’s voice; you must also know Him. Your strength in hearing and seeing spiritually comes from your intimacy with Him. The deeper your relationship with Jesus, the clearer your spiritual sight and hearing will be.

Waiting on God Strengthens Spiritual Vision.

Isaiah 40:31 promises, “Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.” As you wait on God and deepen your revelation of who Jesus is, you will find yourself rising above the challenges of life, able to see from a higher perspective—God’s perspective. This is the key to accurately hearing His voice and discerning His will for your life.

It’s essential to remember that hearing God is not about religious rituals or earning His voice through good works. It’s about grace, revelation, and relationship. The more you grow in your understanding of Jesus, the more clearly you will hear from Him. Trust in His desire to speak to you, seek Him diligently in His Word, and allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate your heart with His truth.

Trust in His Light and Grow in Revelation.

Hearing God clearly requires deepening your understanding of Jesus Christ. As you grow in your revelation of Him, you will see more clearly and hear His voice more consistently. Your relationship with Jesus is the key to unlocking the mysteries of the spiritual realm and walking in divine truth.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the light of revelation that comes through Jesus Christ. We ask for a deeper understanding of Him so that we may see clearly and hear Your voice accurately. Help us to grow in our relationship with You, walking in the light of Your Word and shining brightly in this world. Open our spiritual ears and eyes to receive all that You desire to reveal to us. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Remember, hearing God isn’t about striving but about resting in His grace and growing in the light of His revelation. The more you know Him, the clearer His voice becomes.
