Visit these websites to help you learn programming for absolutely free.
There are numerous websites available, through which you can learn programming, even if you have zero experience in any programming languages. Learning to code on your own might be difficult for you in the beginning, but trust me, just having a goal and perfect mindset will get you thorugh all the barriers along your journey.
These resources are completely free for everyone and I would recommend checking out each of them and then stick to one particular course to master your skills. I am actively learning to Code (from Beginning without any previous experience) from freecodecamp.org, and alongside that I have purchased a udemy course which I will be reviewing in my upcoming stories.
1. FreeCodeCamp
Best place to practice coding, no need for external tools, and everything is cloud based to start whenever and wherever you want!
Number of guided projects will allow you to practice any code at your own pace. In addition to that, there are milestone excercises which can lead you towards earning certifiacates for free. They have huge community across all major cities.
2. Codecademy
Similar to freecodecamp, must check out this website! The free account will provide you with important concepts of web development. If you want to earn certification, there are different plans available.
On your learning journey, there are number of exercises which will help you gain hands on experience of coding, even if you do not have Computer science background. The only con about this website is, they will ask you to purchase their premium account very ofte.
3. The Odin Project
This website has the compilation of greatest resources available across internet to learn web development from scratch!
This project gives you number of resources outside their own website, which is free for everyone. If you are more of a reader type, this website helps a lot. Do check this out, for great articles provided by experienced developers and spreading their knowledge for everyone to learn programming.
4. W3Schools
Multiple paths to chose from, they have useful documents to refer to even if you’re not following their learning path.
W3 school is well formated and well designed website for a beginner programming. Due to well formated its easy to learn . It also provide examples assignments after every topic .
They have explained in a simplest language so that beginners can understand complex concepts very easily. We can learn freely but to get certified they charge you some amount, and if you're serious about your learning and want to get job this amount seems very low as compared to spending thousands of dollars in universities.
5. web.dev
The courses here are developed by google, they have lessons for every popular programming languages.
All learning paths are extremely engaging, especially you like to read and learn. Developed by industry experts, these courses take you right through a subject.
They are structured to allow you to just dip into one or two modules of interest too.
