English Progression from Last Two Semester”

Before I joined QAU, my English was not strong as it is now. My English was quite weak due to which I faced many obstacles.as soon as I started working on my English progress was getting better slowly and gradually. There were some helping hands through which I improved my English.

First phase of English progress journey. First of all, as I started attending my classes, I learned gradually. I engaged myself in group discussion, it helps me a lot to stimulate my strength to express my views about any specific topic. Moreover, our teacher assigned me to read articles, newspapers and some other relevant material to improve English. To conclude this statement, I adopt the habit of reading which is very imperative for learning English.

Second step into further progress. Secondly, I started reading books that helped me to produce ideas and to enhance my critical thinking. So after doing all this process, I felt satisfaction and improvement in my English. I used to go to library for further improvement and spent my entire time there after classes. I started gathering with my classmates and share my opinion about how to learn English with effective way. We put ourselves into various English discussion and that also helped me a lot for the improvement of my English progress. In nutshell, my English progress get strong as compare to earlier.

As I was poor in English, my writing was not quite well to impress my teacher. So, I started reading dawn newspapers and after reading a paragraph or an opinion, I wrote it myself. I practiced writing on daily bases. I read extra books and novels including and excluding my course. These reading habit improved my writing style to an extent that I was motivated to work even harder. Practice was the only tool which helped my skills flourish even better.

The role of teachers played a vital role in helping me to learn and improve my writing skills. I practiced what I learnt and made my teachers to check and asses my assignments. They caught my mistakes and I discussed those mistakes with my teachers and then I restrained from making those mistakes. Without my teacher it would be impossible for me to improve and make progress.

No doubt, practice makes a man perfect. Consistent hard work and practice made me realize that how much I had improved. During my first till the ongoing semester I consistently try to give time to English. This is the result of my consistency and practice due to what I am able write this essay.to conclude, a journey from nothing to something started from my first semester and is yet on its way.

The Purpose of this piece of writing is to let the community know about my struggle inthe quest of getting my English better and more accurate for the reader. Moreover, the struggle is still in progress to be more fluent and get more knowledge about learning English. I would like to add more points which are that English is my third language which I long to learn. It's not easy for the person whose English language is on the third list to learn. I shall be very grateful to the vocal media and the community and the person who introduced me to this wonderful platform where I can learn the English along with the enriching ideas of the other people who published incredible articles and opinions which are very beneficial for the whole vocal media community. In the end, I would also like to thank myself to be more confident on this platform.
