9.3.19 So proud of my sister Bisola Falobi! She earned her MBA while having 2 kids in school! For anyone who thinks they can’t accomplish something, this young woman did this with little help and worked 2 jobs!!! No excuses. I am inspired by her! ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️

My younger sister, Bisola Kimberly Adejobi makes me so proud! She moved to Tallahassee for college with little money saved. She was on the national honor roll in high school and had a decent scholarship entering into college. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree while working two jobs and debt free. Then she still decided to enroll to Florida State University after getting married and already pregnant with her first child. She never took a break even though I kept telling her to take her time. In her year of getting her master’s degree she conceived two children and still graduated with honors!

I remember when she was is highschool. Daily I saw letters coming in from Universities all over the country. Duke, Yale, Howard, just to name a few.. I was in awe of the opportunity she had to pretty much get to choose any school she wanted to attend. I would often ask, “What school are you going to attend”? Her decision was to go to an HBCU, FAMU. At the time I didn’t understand why she wanted to go there out of all the choices she had. She summed it up by, “She would be with all her friends from high school”. I still didn’t get it.

She has always been a level headed person who instinctively knows the right solution to a problem. She reads people very spot on and has always been put in leadership positions in every job she has had in her life. Thinking of that reminded me of a time when still living under our parents roof, the land line would ring constantly on the days she was off from work. It’s like the people there couldn’t function without her there. They would call and ask me to wake her up for small things that they should’ve known. But that is just the way she is. People get comfortable knowing she is there to rely on.

It took time for me to see that her decision to go to the school she chose was a great decision and choice. I myself studied a subject not offered in most Universities and typically only offered in private schools. So, I didn’t look into some of the things she was when choosing a college. She definitely had a clear vision if what she wanted to accomplish. She worked nonstop two positions while attaining her Bachelors.

After meeting the love of her life, it wasn’t long before she decided to return for her Master’s Degree. She is the fourth of five girl siblings. I think we all agree that we all are intelligent but Bisola is on a level of her own. When she says something, she sticks with it and gets it done. She doesn’t allow others to distract or slow her down when she is on a mission. I love that she is younger than me and I can still learn a lot from her!

Bisola got her middle name from me begging my parents to name her Kimberly as a kid. Her initials are BKA which she always expresses that she loves! So befitting for the woman/scholar that she is! I think what she has achieved is an inspiration to all women! She never asked for anything and managed her finances well throughout school. She continuously worked hard and never looked back. She made no excuses. She carried two kids in the year alone that she earned her Master’s Degee. She kept striving until her goal was met. And I can’t wait to see what she does next!
