It is to be physically active, maintain a healthy life, and stop smoking and alcohol consumption should be avoided. Although numerous researchers are undergoing to find a way to put an end to Alzheimer's disease. The first drug to help improve the symptoms of Alzheimer's by slowing the disease is Lecanemab.

Small but significant effect in reducing cognitive decline was recently found in lecanemab. According to previous studies, this drug increases the levels of amyloid-beta 42 in the CSF, this active protein replacement approach might become a promising new way of treatment for Alzheimer’s and other protein aggregation diseases such as motor neuron disease and Parkinson’s.

Researchers said lecanemab slowed functional decline by 27% when given to people with Alzheimer's in phase 3 clinical trials.

As of now latest research on Alzheimer's disease 2023, Lecanemab is an experimental drug developed by both Biogen and Eisai jointly, which is currently in clinical trials for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Not a major but still minor progress can be seen by using this drug called Lecanemab. This was announced in November 2022, that the drug was successful in a clinical trial. As of now, Lecaneb has shown a 27% of slow decline so it is a huge impact on Alzheimer's disease, as no particular medicine is still not found to completely cure Alzheimer's disease.
