Start Earning as a Writer on Textbroker – No Experience Needed

If you want to make money online by writing, Textbroker is a great place to start. You don’t need to be a professional writer or have years of experience. As long as you understand basic English grammar and can write clearly, you can begin earning on this platform.

Textbroker is available in many countries, and it has both American and British versions. Make sure you select the right one depending on where you live or what type of English you use.

How Textbroker Works for Writers

On Textbroker, writers are called “Authors.” To join, you first need to create an account and apply as an author. Once your application is accepted, you usually start with a 3-star rating. This rating shows the quality of your writing. As you keep writing and improving, your rating can go up to 4 stars, and then finally to the highest level, 5 stars.

The more stars you have, the more money you can earn for each word you write.

There are three main ways to get work on the platform:

Open Orders: These are jobs available to all authors with a certain rating. You can choose from any of these tasks if they match your rating level.

Direct Orders: These are jobs sent directly to you by clients. The best part is that you can set your own price per word for these jobs.

Team Orders: These are jobs offered to a group of writers. You must join a team first, and then you can take on available tasks. The client decides the pay rate.

Earning Rates for Different Star Levels

Textbroker pays you based on your star rating and the type of order. Here's a breakdown of how much you can earn:

3-star author: Earns about 1.1 cents per word (Open Orders only)

4-star author: Earns 1.5 cents per word for Open Orders, 2 cents for Direct Orders, and 1.9 cents for Team Orders

5-star author: Earns 4.5 cents per word for all order types (Open, Direct, and Team)

All payments are made in Euros (€). You can request your money every week and get paid through PayPal.

How I Earn €50 a Day Writing

I currently have a 4-star rating on Textbroker. This means I earn €0.015 per word for Open Orders, €0.02 for Team Orders, and I set my own rate for Direct Orders — which I’ve kept at €0.025 per word.

Each day, I try to write at least 2000 words. At this rate, I earn around €50 every day. Some days, I write even more or get lucky with Direct Orders that pay higher.

It took me about two months of consistent writing to go from a 3-star to a 4-star writer. I always focus on writing clearly and avoiding grammar mistakes so I can keep my rating — and maybe reach 5 stars soon.

How to Join Textbroker

Textbroker is one of the top websites for beginner writers to earn online. Signing up is easy, but you must complete a short grammar test as part of the application. This test shows that you know the basics of English. You only get one chance to take this test, so be sure to prepare before starting it.

At the moment, Textbroker is not accepting new writers, but they plan to open up again soon. It’s a good idea to check their website often so you can apply as soon as they begin accepting new authors.

Textbroker is a great way to turn your writing skills into income — even if you’re just getting started. With practice, patience, and good grammar, you can build a steady stream of earnings from the comfort of your home.
