How To Be Healthy
Achieving optimal health is a goal that many strive for. The path to a healthy lifestyle involves making conscious choices and adopting positive habits

Health, akin to wealth, is often overlooked until it is lost, leaving us to realize its true value. It is during moments of significant health challenges that we proclaim, "Now I must prioritize my well-being." However, if we were to proactively care for our health before falling ill, we could spare ourselves the pain and suffering of diseases. Consider the time and energy spent daily on our mobile phones; if we were to invest that same amount of time and energy in nurturing our health, the improvements to our lives would be unimaginable. In this week's video, I will share five simple and easily implementable tips that offer far more effectiveness.
Let's dive into the first smart idea: sleeping on your left side. As depicted in the accompanying image, there are compelling reasons to opt for this sleeping position. Based on the structure of our stomach, sleeping on the right side can lead to issues caused by stomach acids. These problems include improper digestion, compromised blood flow, and heartburn. Conversely, sleeping on the left side allows stomach acids to work more efficiently, resulting in improved digestion.
The second smart idea focuses on a water drink reminder. In our busy lives, we often forget to drink water regularly, only quenching our thirst sporadically. This habit is detrimental to our health. Fortunately, there is an app called "Water Drink Reminder" that can solve this problem. By using this app, you can easily track your daily water intake and receive timely reminders through notifications on your mobile device. It's reminiscent of our childhood days when our mothers fulfilled this role, but now the app has taken over!
Walking more is the third smart idea, and it aligns with the World Health Organization's recommendation of achieving 8,000 steps daily for optimal health and fitness. Many of us are unaware of our daily step count. As Lord Kelvin wisely stated, "If you can't measure it, you cannot improve it." To measure your daily steps accurately, you can utilize a fitness tracker. Personally, I recommend the Mi Band 2 Hrx edition, which provides precise information about your current average steps and helps you set achievable goals. Remember, walking doesn't necessarily require a fitness band; what matters most is developing an awareness and finding opportunities to walk more, whether by taking the stairs instead of the elevator or simply moving around your house.
The fourth smart idea revolves around chewing your food 32 times. According to Ayurveda, our stomach is the root cause of every disease. By maintaining a healthy stomach, we can easily preserve our overall well-being. There are two crucial factors: avoiding junk food and having strong digestion. Chewing your food 32 times before swallowing is beneficial in both cases. Notice how the taste of junk food diminishes after prolonged chewing, while healthy food becomes more flavorful. Cultivating the habit of thorough chewing can gradually reduce your inclination towards junk food. Furthermore, the digestion process begins in the mouth, with 50% of it occurring there and the remaining 50% in the stomach. By swiftly swallowing our food, we disrupt the process, leading to various digestion issues. Chewing food thoroughly, on the other hand, helps alleviate many of these problems.
Lastly, smart idea five emphasizes the importance of creating a healthy environment. If your closest circle of friends indulges in constant consumption of junk food, laziness, smoking, and alcohol, it's only natural for you to adopt a similar lifestyle to fit in. Conversely, if your friends prioritize health, engage in regular exercise, and avoid junk food, you are more likely to embrace a similar lifestyle. Therefore, try to choose your closest companions wisely and surround yourself with individuals who understand the value of health as real wealth.
Additionally, take note of your immediate environment. If your fridge is stocked with junk food, such
