Are you wondering how you can develop your kids IQ Level at an early age? Read this blog to find out...

Today’s helicopter parents are obsessed with finding the right ways to put their children on the fast track to make them smarter and rank the highest in class for all subjects. Parents hunt for the best tuition agency for the best guidance, and consider that their child start tuition, preferably one-to-one tuition for many subjects so as the equip their children in the best way possible.

Excellence is not about scoring straight As, unfortunately. The smartness of a child lies in its ability to apply the knowledge; not regurgitate the information in the textbook.
An intelligent child need not score above in 90 in mathematics, because it may be gifted in other areas. An inquisitive and curious mind will succeed with a focused and disciplined work ethic will succeed, and that is a beyond a shadow of a doubt.
So, here are some ways you can equip your child to be obtain more knowledge; in other words, to develop his or her IQ!
Firstly,
parents should spend a lot of their time talking to their child. Children are naturally very inquisitive when they are young and many parents make the mistake of trying to shut them up instead of answering their questions.
Many of their questions may seem simple to adults but it is important to remember that children have barely any experience in this world compared to adults. Answering these questions will help immensely for children to gain a lot of knowledge and wisdom at a young age. This increase in knowledge and wisdom will then help to increase the overall intelligence of the child.
Secondly,
parents should share their own knowledge with their child. This fundamental home-based learning is organic and truthful. It may seem like he or she is not knowledgeable or experienced enough to understand it but the truth is many children are greatly underestimated of their potential. Slowly teaching children slightly complicated concepts from a young age will both make the child more inquisitive and more knowledgeable.
Similarly, parents should also read storybooks and informative books to them frequently. Parents may not be knowledgeable in all aspects and reading books to children will help to cover these areas.
Thirdly,
After a while, children may become too restless or have too little of an attention span to sit still and listen to a book read by their parents. Moreover, parents may also be so busy with their own work that they are not able to set aside time to read the books to their children.
Thus, it is important for parents to help their child develop a habit of reading books from a young age. Books provide a window to basically infinite information and it is important to not miss out on this.
Fourthly,
Simply reading books and asking questions is a very boring way to learn and many children may despise it. Thus, it is important to make this learning more fun. Spatial awareness and creativity are a criterion for IQ tests and is skills that are generally very useful for life. These skills can be developed in a fun way by providing children with materials such as Lego blocks.
Building something is a very effective way of developing these skills. There can be many other activities that may help in a similar manner and it will benefit the child greatly if they are exposed to them.
Fifthly,

Memory is a very important skill for IQ tests. However, developing it is quite difficult if it is not done from a young age. Many people face the problem of having a bad memory and forgetting useful information which could have been avoided if they had trained their memory from their young age.
Training it as an adult requires much more effort and commitment which makes it all the more important to develop it at a young age. Parents can encourage their children to play memory games like card matching or even games like bridge, hearts, spades and go fish which indirectly require a lot of memory work.
Sixthly,

Video game addiction is a very common problem nowadays due to their availability at everyone’s fingertips, However, video games are actually useful if they are played in moderation (which also applies for basically any other activity).
There are many different categories of video games and these categories can help to improve different skills. Strategy games (like risk or mobas) teach children to think carefully about their decisions and analyse their every move.
FPS games are generally fast paced and thus improve their awareness, tactical mindset and communication skills. These are just a few examples but are applicable for a lot of games in general.
Seventhly,
learning a musical instrument is a fun way to develop many skills at the same time. Music is a very complicated but beautiful thing and learning it requires a lot of patience and creativity. Music contains a lot of patterns which will take some time to recognise.
By learning music from a young age, children will become more creative, disciplined and gain a lot of non-academic knowledge. This creativity and pattern recognition will help immensely for IQ tests.
Lastly,
to be able to do well in an IQ test, the test taker needs to be confident in themselves and believe that they will be able to solve the problems and puzzles.
Parents should develop the habit of praising their child for all their successful events and even if they fail, they should praise the effort that they put in. Screaming at someone for doing something wrong or making a mistake will greatly reduce their confidence and self-esteem which will be very damaging for their future.
How confident a child is will depend on how the parents raise the child!
