Time is like flowing water flying by, I graduated from junior high school more than four years ago, and without realizing it, the place where I feel the sunlight every day has changed from the crowded corridor of a middle school to the campus. The change of time only becomes so obvious at this moment of recalling the past. I always feel a bit unreal at such times, just like when I run occasionally, I feel like I am still on the 300-meter-long track of the vocational school.
I have sweated too much on the playground of the vocational school. In order not to regret a few points in the midterm exams, I completed the amount of exercise that I could not even do in three years of high school in one year. The scenes of running laps, frog jumping, and running up and down the stairs in gym class are still vivid in my mind. Every time we finished running a thousand meters, we would always collapse in the middle of the playground and pant heavily, which was the result of constantly pushing ourselves to our limits. After high school, I never got tired of running to the point where I couldn't lift my legs, but in contrast, after I went to college, I once again couldn't slow down for half an hour after running 1,000 meters because it was about my grades. My legs were sore for a few days after each frog jump, but thanks to the "devil training" of Mr. R, I scored almost perfect marks on the physical test, and my physical fitness also supported me to get perfect marks in long-distance running easily in college after three years of wasted physical exercise.
Memories are like sand, blurred memories are full of eyes, and hard thinking can only think of some words. I didn't understand the importance of learning in junior high school, thanks to my mother who was also my homeroom teacher, who half led and half forced me to at least try to learn as result in the first two years of junior high school. Because of this, I was able to maintain a good grade in junior high school and not have a broken foundation when I started to realize that I had to study in junior high. My first and second-year language teacher, Ms. L, made us feel the joy of writing in reading and writing, and she praised and encouraged our writing, which was still full of childishness at that time. She made my perception of language change from a test subject to something I could relate to as a hobby. I would like to thank all the teachers who taught me. I benefited from their criticism and encouragement, and I owe my awakening of study awareness and subsequent development of study habits to them.
The midterm is the first real stop in the race of life, and it is the first step to climbing to the top. In junior high school, you are still young and playful. I highly approve and support you to have fun in your spare time and enjoy every stage of your life, without being too attached to your studies, but this should be based on serious efforts in studying. Studying well is a must at any stage of your life, now and in the future. Not to mention that this is the easiest stage for you to work towards higher levels, and if you don't work hard at this time, you will only pay more and more times harder in the future.
I am here to share my story with you, and I would be honored if you could gain something from it. Let's work together, and let's all encourage each other.
