**Title: Understanding Prosperity: (Part 1)**

Many believers misunderstand the origin of money and how it relates to God's plan for prosperity. First, let's clarify: there are no dollars in heaven. No euros, no rupees—none of the currencies we use on earth exist in the spirit realm. So, when we ask God for money, we’re not expecting it to fall from heaven. The truth is, all the wealth we need is already here on earth—dollars, euros, rupees, gold, and silver. God has placed everything we need in the natural world.

However, there's a spiritual dimension we must understand. The spirit realm gave birth to the physical realm. Everything we see was first created in the unseen. While money exists in the earth, our access to it is influenced by spiritual principles. If you think money isn’t coming to you, or believe you never have enough, you’re blocking the flow. This is because money is designed to serve you. You are not its servant—it is your servant.

God has assigned angels to assist us, including angels responsible for financial provision. This isn't referring to the Syrian god Mammon, which Jesus warned against serving. No, this is a reference to heavenly beings who operate under God’s direction to fulfill His will. These angels are with you, even in your home, and they listen to your words. That’s why Scripture instructs wives to respect their husbands—because angels are present and listening (1 Corinthians 11:10).

Your confessions matter. Malachi 3:16 speaks of a *"book of remembrance"* that is written for those who revere God and speak of Him often. When you declare the Word of God and speak in alignment with His promises, those words are recorded. At the right time, that book is brought before God, and blessings are released based on what you said. This is not judgment against you—it’s a remembrance for you.

So, instead of questioning the validity of prosperity messages, declare by faith: *"God supplies all my needs. I walk in abundance. I have more than enough in Jesus’ name."* When your confession aligns with God's Word, spiritual forces are activated to bring that reality into manifestation. But when you speak doubt and unbelief—saying things like, “I don’t know if this prosperity message is true,”—you shut the door on your own breakthrough.

Moreover, your actions must align with your declarations. If you say you are blessed, give like someone who is blessed. Sadly, many pastors preach prosperity but fail to act on it. They don’t tithe, don’t give offerings, and make pledges they never fulfill. That's not the way of a prosperous person.

You must learn to stir your spirit to give. Generosity is not just a response to need; it's a reflection of your inner abundance. Sometimes I prepare myself in prayer, even during a phone call, and stir myself in the Spirit before giving. Giving is who we are because we carry God's nature.

From the beginning, God created everything before He created man. He placed Adam and Eve into a finished, abundant garden. God invited them into His rest. Likewise, you’ve been called to walk in that same rest and provision. But if you're not seeing consistent prosperity, then it may be time to examine your thoughts. Are they aligned with abundance?

To prosper, you must think like a prosperous person. The eyes of the Lord search the earth, looking for those whose hearts are aligned with Him so He can bless them (2 Chronicles 16:9). Decide today to think big, to speak life, and to give generously. Lift your vision. God is looking for someone to bless. Why not you?
